Fox92 Posted 1 April 2013 Share Posted 1 April 2013 Style of play has been horrible recently. Launch it up to the strikers, they get beat in the air, the ball comes back ... so let's repeat.

Because of wood, when he got subbed off, we looked a far more better side and were playing it on the floor.

Fox92 Posted 1 April 2013 Share Posted 1 April 2013 Because of wood, when he got subbed off, we looked a far more better side and were playing it on the floor. But we played free-flowing, attacking, football on the ground when Wood first joined the club. Many of his goals have been on the floor - Huddersfield home and away, Bristol City away for example. We have some technically gifted players and we should be looking to play out of defence, not relying on our goalkeeper to launch the ball in the air. More often than not, Kasper either overhits the ball, or if he does find a blue shirt, we don't win it and the ball comes back.
DANGEROUS TIGER Posted 1 April 2013 Share Posted 1 April 2013 Very loose defending today for both goals, imo.

kingfox Posted 1 April 2013 Share Posted 1 April 2013 ANOTHER away loss! Defensive Midfielder to support the back four anyone? Gotta love the defensive midfielder. Against Millwall though they had Jack Smith playing that role, and along with Chaplow despite them being quite poor themselves, I think they were the best two players on the pitch.
