Nugent - 7 - Great finish, didn't think he was any better than Waggy overall, but he got the goal which is all that will be remembered. Clearly we weren't as good when he went off, feel like maybe we'd have been better off putting Moore on and letting Jeff go upfront so that we had two proper strikers up top, but I guess it's easy to say that with hindsight.

I agree and thought that myself at the time or even punting on Futacs just to change it up a bit and add some height up front for something different.

Schmeichel 6.5 Nothing to do, distribution fine

De Laet 7 Good contribution

Morgan 7 Usual dominance

Whitbread 6.5 Could've closed down better for their 1st goal; v. unlucky with 2nd; generally solid; getting excessive criticism on here

Schlupp 6.5 Occasionally out of position, but decent for a novice LB

Drinkwater 8 Best player on pitch - ran the game; MOM

King 7 Couple of passing gaffes, but generally good distribution

Knockaert 7 Trying a bit too hard, but his assist for Nugent's goal is worth +1

Dyer 7 Constantly had them on the back foot; lack of finish to his crosses not always his fault

Nugent 7 Looking sharper again - sublime finish for his goal; hope injury is minor

Waghorn 6.5 All-round performance much improved - like Vardy, just needs to sharpen up shooting (confidence issue for both?)

Lingard 5 Erratic on that showing

Marshall 5.5 Offered little (except better corner-taking)

Schmeichel- 6 (Couldn't do anything about the goals, apart from that little to do)

De Laet- 7 (Coped well with Reid)

Morgan- 8 (In control yet again)

Whitbread- 7 (Better performance. Can't blame him for the penalty because it wasn't a foul)

Schlupp- 7 (You could tell at times his inexperience in that position, but for a debut of sorts it was fine)

Knockaert- 6 (Tried to do too much at times but sublime through ball for Nugent)

King- 7 (Good game)

Drinkwater- 7 (Same as King)

Dyer- 8 (Superb)

Nugent- 7 (Missed him badly when he went off, brilliant finish)

Waghorn- 7 (I feel for him. He's very good in the build up but finishing lets him down)

Lingard- 5 (Never in the game)

Marshall- 5 (Ineffective)

Schmeichel - 7 Had nothing to do

RDL- 8 - Good pace, strong at RB

Morgan - 9 - Legend, usual.

Whitbread - 5 - Wasnt his best game

Schlupp - 5 - Not a LB, good going forward but never looked comfortable

Knocky - 7 - Unbelievable ball for the 2nd goal, oor performance otherwise

King - 6 - Not imressed again, seems to be carried by DD regularly

Drinkwater - 8 - Controlled the game kept the ball, his range of passing is class

Dyer - 8 - Impressive performance, good pace and his delivery wasnt bad either

Nuge - 8 - Never game them a second, unbelievable goal, brilliant performance

Waghorn - 9 - MOtm for me, worked hard, finished his attempt well but there was an excellent clearance by the defender.

Lingard - N/a - looked good in our attacks, played good ball over

Marshall - N/a - Not going for him at all
