He came to help out Sven, I think he sees himself as a higher class player and maybe doesn't want the money or the petty hassle of playing in the championship. Shame about Tunch, but don't really care about Paintsil

A real quality defender, he could do it all, I'm absolutely certain he'd have been in the top flight without his injuries, before his injury, did he have a single bad game? Like, a single one? I can't remember him having one. Glad he's getting games. Pantsil Israel is the kind of league I expected him to move to. Standard African journeyman move. He made me laugh but I haven't got a clue how he lasted so long in the PL. Vassell I've made my thoughts clear, I've never seen what everyone else sees in him. Had a good run before we signed Yakubu and I liked him but after that he was total mediocrity. His career had been on the slope for a while and moving to shit like the Turkish League (midtable club too) shows what he's really after, sadly. In his defence, he did put himself about, but didn't have the quality for me or the genuine desire, he had nothing to prove.

Made me laugh how many people wanted to keep Vassell, really did show the mindset and mediocrity our fans levels had reached. As for Pantsdown. Probably the worst signing of the last few years in terms of value for money (and that's saying something), can you imagine how much Sven wrote this guy a deal out for? He was absolutely awful, had we got him straight out of Africa you would have been convinced you had been stiched up by this guy.....
