Statistical analysis of the first 20 games.

Summary: Dyer is key. 41% of goals come from the left flank, highest in the Championship.

This is going to be fun :-)

So now compare your statement with match time and goals scored when Dyer is on the pitch. I most admit that on Saturday the few balls he put into the box confused everyone !!!!!

We also have the highest proportion of goals conceded in the first half in the entire FL, 78%.

Not saying Dyer is not key, but that stat doesn't prove it.

The stat relates to where the shot for the goal comes from, so a run down the right, beating 10 players, pinpoint cross from the right scored with a point blank header in to an open goal from the centre counts as a goal from the middle, when clearly the work was done down the right.

Following on from this, Marshall has 5 assists to Dyer's 3, and in 12 starts instead of 18. Has scored one more goal too.

Obviously assists and goals don't tell the whole story, but it's worth mentioning.

Conceded the most first-half goals in the Football League :xmasohmy:

Highest proportion.
