My son has just asked for this and I've noticed there's a "year edition" as well as the normal. can anyone tell me what the difference is?

Also is the PC version or PS3 version better?

The Game of the Year edition should come with Undead Nightmares, which is the DLC of Red Dead, I'd get the GOTY edition

Think it has all the dlc so you don't have to pay for that seperately. The dlc sometimes costs a bomb.

On this game tho, I bought this last december an occasionally played it and only killed it off last month.

Gotta say I enjoyed the overall game, the minigames like poker nd 4 finger filet but the end was abit flat and once you've comped it its abit weird.

Rockstar keep going tho, long may it last

Didn't like it either. Useful trade in since it was a second hand copy in the first place. Nowt lost there.

If you stick with it it has one of the best storys of this generation for video games. If you havnt got to mexico yet you havnt seen anything

I think I got to the bit where you've just learnt to ride a horse so not very far in. Only wanted to play it as I have the goty edition & wanted to play undead nightmare after I finished it.
