The Human Centipede 2

I started watching the first one out of curiosity, I stopped because it was boring and very badly acted with massive irritating plot holes.

As for the merit of these films, like Saw, they are art as well as just entertainment, and some of the best art can be the most challenging, this wasn't it was just shit, but films like this drive you to think about what sort of a man would do this, and why, also on the anatomical aspect of it, I don't know if there was some clumsy analogy on the wastefulness of man, or the dangers of the pursuit of knowledge at all costs, the first saw films challenged you to consider what you would do to survive.

If you think of films like seven or silence of the lambs, there were some very shocking and explicit scenes but within the context of a good film it is forgiven.

This is just twisted highly disturbing filth.

It worries me that people watch it and get some sort of perverse pleasure.... or even worse ideas.

IT'S BOUQUET!

No I am not joking, and I wasn't joking about these violent criminal video games either.

It all normalises what is extreme sick criminal activity.

It is just an extension of horror films such as psycho. I don't think anyone will be inspired to sew people arse to mouth, more likely to be inspired by more realistic depictions of violence and torture. That is such a grotesque film and such an exaggerated central conceit that I don't think there will be any copy cat acts.

The idea of films like this is in part to push the limits of what we can tolerate to watch, my main problem with it was that it was so badly scripted directed acted and that the only thing of any value is the central idea that is so extreme it does challenge people.

It used to be heavy metal, now it's video games or even more hilariously, the lack of guns in and around schools.

Nothing to do with an unstable mental state and free and easy access to buttons that make people die.

I think it's all of the above added together mate. Media in all it's forms is so readily available in extreme depraved manners it just aids the normalisation of what should be seen as depraved criminal activity.

But with this film, there is no normalisation of it, it is clearly not normal activity it is extreme depraved and shocking and portrayed as so, I think war films and action films where the hero kills lots of people almost indiscriminately firing weapons in the general direction of bad guys, causing huge car crashes and mass destruction is a lot more damaging to the fragile human psyche than some grotesque act that is impossible and infeasible in equal measures.

The Sun lol lol lol lol You call violent computer games criminal and then use a rag like the Sun to back up your arguement lol hilarious. I mean I know a lot of people are dumb enough to believe every spin the media try to put on things but I thought at least most of the country knew the Sun was always full of shit.

As I've already said, batman is the only film to be the main motive for a mass killing, yet I don't see you calling for that to be banned. I haven't played BLOPS 2 but I'm guessing there isn't a chapter where you blow your mother away with her own gun and then shoot a school up......he lived under ground in a flat with no windows obsessed with guns (guns not computer games, he probably got into the game off the back of his facisnation with guns) and the military, he was clearly disturbed.

Computer games are available all over the world and yet this kind of thing only happens in America, strange that. :xmasunsure:

You can't blame a video game solely for going on a killing spree.

The normal, sane human being like myself would be able to control themselves. I've been playing games like Call of Duty since I was Eleven and you don't see me rampaging into schools attempting a mass murder.

If someone is mentally inclined and has the means they will do it, sometimes people aren't all there. I somewhat doubt Thomas Hamilton, Michael Ryan, or Derick Bird had ever played a computer game in their life yet they were somehow still capable of similar attrosities.

Just out of interest, what do you mean by 'mentally inclined'?

Agree with Mack, I saw the trailer for this and just thought what kind of sick individual actually wants to watch something like this.......
