TrentFox Posted 22 December 2012 Posted 22 December 2012 I've lived in two of those places and though both were quaint, they were tediously boring and uninspiring and unpleasant places to be. However, the villages around them were magnificent examples of quintessential English rural life. Wonder how they define each area, geographically ??
Rincewind Posted 22 December 2012 Posted 22 December 2012 I suppose it depends what you are looking for in a place
skinnydipper Posted 23 December 2012 Posted 23 December 2012 One can assure you this is not the case. One must have had elocution then. Even the royals are born with the cockney inflection in their baby cries. and with an in-built love of the jellied eel.
Jon the Hat Posted 23 December 2012 Posted 23 December 2012 In all of those places, great to live in if you can afford a nice house.
Dr The Singh Posted 23 December 2012 Posted 23 December 2012 In all of those places, great to live in if you can afford a nice house. And get a job, that can pay for that house, council tax etc etc
Guest Posted 23 December 2012 Posted 23 December 2012 I can think of many more desirable places in the UK. Check out the hot babes thread for some of them.
Alexikokopops Posted 23 December 2012 Posted 23 December 2012 I used to work near Hart and it was ****ing dull Popped into Richmond (on Thames) late yesterday afternoon for a few bits of late Xmas shopping. Then into The Ship (proper Pub) for a couple of pints of Youngs Special and a nice meal, (not in the pub). Nice place with decent shops, plenty of good bars, real pubs and restaurants and absolutely dripping with posh totty of just about all ages. Used to spend a lot of time there when I was younger....... :xmaswink: I don't go in the Ship ever since I ordered a "chilli mountain" and got a chilli mound. Disappointing. I always used to like the White Swan off the Green
Bettsj2 Posted 24 December 2012 Posted 24 December 2012 All those places are in the north to me Ha! Snap there brother!
