Happy Fox Posted 2 January 2013 Posted 2 January 2013 Looking at our goal difference +21 The sides above us Middlesbrough 4th - +10 Crystal Palace 3rd - +16 Hull City 2nd - +10 It really puts us in a good position and highlights that away from home 1-0 scrappy wins akin to Burnley is all we need provided we beat teams at home comfortably which we are capable of. Any thoughts?
Guest Bilo Posted 2 January 2013 Posted 2 January 2013 Potentially worth another point. If we beat Bristol City and Palace and Boro both lose, we go up to 3rd.
Leicester_Numan Posted 2 January 2013 Posted 2 January 2013 Worth a point in the event of a tie on points. It certainly doesn't do us any harm
Corky Posted 2 January 2013 Posted 2 January 2013 It could, which is why it was important to win by as many as possible and not concede late on yesterday.

Any thoughts? I would have thought losing games against Blackburn (a) and Cardiff (h) coupled with our inability to beat Barnsley at home when we have had enough chances to win 10 games may well count more.
The Year Of The Fox Posted 2 January 2013 Posted 2 January 2013 Cardiff have the second best, two behind us. They'll still bottle it anyway
bluesbrothers Posted 5 May 2013 Posted 5 May 2013 I CANT SLEEP SO I'LL JUST BUMP THIS OLD THREAD INSTEAD. To answer the thread's question... yes. Yes it could. :scarf:
Vlad the Fox Posted 5 May 2013 Posted 5 May 2013 I therefore conclude that yes, goal difference could very well be the difference.
Happy Fox Posted 5 May 2013 Author Posted 5 May 2013 I knew it f**king would now that shinned winner by Mr Beckford at Wembley against Palace.
