JamesAnderson Posted 20 February 2013 Posted 20 February 2013 If we lose on Saturday away at Blackpool can we please not blame the pitch. Yes, there pitch is rubbish, but Pearson and players will know that and should be preparing for what could be an ugly game.
Bert Posted 20 February 2013 Posted 20 February 2013 That will be the excuse though. Pearson is preparing the players by making them train on shit pitches.
chili_con_carne Posted 20 February 2013 Posted 20 February 2013 If we lose on Saturday then automatic promotion is a definite no no

Guest Posted 20 February 2013 Posted 20 February 2013 I thought you were gonna ask if we lose on Saturday can we close FT down for a day?
Ford Super Sunday Posted 20 February 2013 Posted 20 February 2013 09/10- Lost four games in a row, followed by five wins in a row at the end of the season. Certainly not all doom, gloom and OMG WE'RE SCREWED if we do lose on Saturday. There pitch is absolutely dire however. Are we allowed to make excuses if it bobbles over Kasper into the net and we lose 1-0?

Guest Bilo Posted 20 February 2013 Posted 20 February 2013 That will be the excuse though. Pearson is preparing the players by making them train on shit pitches. That's not surprising, good preparation. Without wanting to sound smug, where are these shit pitches? I thought Belvoir Drive's pitches were all Desso now. The season isn't fvcked if we lose on Saturday, but it will leave us looking nervously over our shoulders at seventh and leave second looking increasingly distant. That would be a huge disappointment given how good a January we had.
Fox92 Posted 20 February 2013 Posted 20 February 2013 They are highly paid footballers, so they will have to deal with it. Did the likes of Bobby Moore moan all those years ago?
flowwolf Posted 20 February 2013 Posted 20 February 2013 Could you change the " If " to " when " please, then we may get a better quality of slagging.
crisp monster Posted 20 February 2013 Posted 20 February 2013 If the pitch is that bad, we'll have to play in all blue or all black. It'll be a right bastard getting those white shorts clean and ready for Tuesday night
savillefoxes Posted 21 February 2013 Posted 21 February 2013 Just like he knew Charlton would play the way they did on tuesday but still kept the same formation.
