Multiculturalism in Sweden

And in the same 10 years, atheists have almost doubled too, and I would bet money on this country becoming secular long before it becomes Muslim.

Would be a huge bonus, let's just hope when that happens that generation of Athiests actually has the balls to treat and talk about Islam just like it does of the other religions.

I would say it already is secular. We're only a Christian country because government sometimes find it convenient to deflect problems onto the church, or hide behind them. We're probably not far off from that facade being dropped though.

It wouldn't surprise me to find that the most "practised" religion in the country wasn't already Islam. Many people who say they are Christians are nominal Christians who might go to church at Christmas and weddings and funerals, but that's about it. Wouldn't be surprised to find that most of the regular church goers in the UK (England especially) were black people at Evangelical and Pentecostal churches.

Interestingly, over the past 50 years you will have found an increasing percentage of Christian people in Asian countries.

well our net immigration is the lowest for a decade much lower than some countries with a point system that'll please some.

Mainly because the tories blocked a lot of students and changed a lot of their visas I believe. I think they call it 'juking the stats', or something. Which is a shame because foreign students are the one demographic most right thinking people want coming into the country. But we're getting less of them and the same number, if not more economic migrants from crap countries with crap cultures.

The tories have done nothing useful on immigration. The proper points based system labour were working towards was much better.

You don't have to go to church or be part of the official Christian organisations to be a practising Christian.

Having been raised in a very religious CofE environment and culture I am indoctrinated with Christianity and lead what might be considered a Christian lifestyle but I have no belief in Christianity or any organised religion and declare myself as being non-religious in any polls.

However I'm sure there's many like me but still consider and declare themselves to be Christians.

1. Vastmajority of the rioters were just opportunist copy cats, bored, frustrated and moronic.

2. A state authority killed a citizen, hence rioting. (Rightly or wrongly on either part is irrelevant.) You're generally not going to riot when a couple of cvnts murder someone and the entire country - authorities included - agree that the cvnts are cvnts.

I get that you were being glib, though.

EDL seem to be rioting to me.

Acooling is so stupid I want to grab him and shake him.

Students and White flight.

In football terms we are losing Premiership players and replacing them with League 1....hence why we are dropping like a stone in every standard of living table going.

Walking through towm today I actually really felt compassionate, imagine actually having to live in that and not having the choice me and you do?

I understand what your saying my post was purely based on the morons who leave comments on various forums and newspaper websites who believe that immigration is out of control and we attract more than anyone else....simply not true.

I've felt compassion for people within the UK just as I have in other countries.

lol that report is at least as biased as the first one.  Full of emotive language and suppositions.

Actually, its pretty on the money other than where it says things like "many Swedes..." without any stats.

The problem with getting the stats is that nobody would admit it. Also, national pride isn't really an appropriate description but there's a kind of national smugness, which means there's a head-in-sand approach to lots of things.

Shane they got a replica Arsenal kit, the colour of punjab is actually either deep orange or dark blue (similar to city)

Nope. That's the Sikh colour. Punjab's colour is basanti (yellow) for the yellow flowers that farmers used to grow. Basanti is also an old Sikh colour.......
