gazfox9 Posted 21 September 2013 Posted 21 September 2013 Thought kingy had a good game, and that goal decided it for me. Stunning strike.
Harry - LCFC Posted 21 September 2013 Posted 21 September 2013 Thought Konchesky did well today, made few mistakes and didn't look troubled at any point. Didn't fly forward but did his bit in supporting the attack. You could see the players were unsure when the penalty was awarded and were looking around at each other, he took responsibility in a tough situation which I was impressed with.

Bert Posted 21 September 2013 Posted 21 September 2013 Close between Drinky and Konch but Drinky nicks it, just!
allotment-fox Posted 21 September 2013 Posted 21 September 2013 King for me cracker of a goal left foot 25 yards get in
newbie123 Posted 21 September 2013 Posted 21 September 2013 anyone who voted King clearly didnt go, he was dier,
SmithyFox12 Posted 22 September 2013 Posted 22 September 2013 Drinkwater. One of the best games I've seen him play in a City shirt.
SmithyFox12 Posted 22 September 2013 Posted 22 September 2013 I take it the vote for Kasper is a joke?
gazfox9 Posted 22 September 2013 Posted 22 September 2013 anyone who voted King clearly didnt go, he was dier, Really? I was there and thought he had a very good game, hence why I voted him.
bigneville Posted 22 September 2013 Posted 22 September 2013 Morgan for me. Defended well, helped Moore out when he was struggling with Fuller. Drove the team forward when we were struggling to create space, and only struggled against the ball into the box when he was pulled out of position by the man he was marking. I can see why people voted for Kingy and Drinkwater but in that first half, they were completely over-run by the Blackpool 3.
cjslcfc Posted 22 September 2013 Posted 22 September 2013 Konch for me. Covered where mistakes were made, did his bit going forward, courageous in stepping up to take a cool pen and overall thought he had a really good game. In fact, since he has come back into the side his three performances have been very good. Good to see after he nearly moved from the club. Top professional
Father Ted Posted 22 September 2013 Posted 22 September 2013 Konchesky? What game were our fans watching? One penalty and he gets MOTM? Look at where their first goal came from. Can people not remember his monumental **** up before Ince had a goal disallowed in the first half. Crazy. I went for Drinkwater.

Can people not remember his monumental **** up before Ince had a goal disallowed in the first half. Crazy. I went for Drinkwater. Agreed about Konch. He was wank in the first half. Passing was awful and he was caused all sorts of problems. De Laet was also very poor. King and Drinky both had decent games but were far from flawless. Once again our centre backs were quality. I went for Morgan.
Rasmic123 Posted 23 September 2013 Posted 23 September 2013 De Laet just for me, he was the best of a bad bunch, everybody had poor games compared to what they are capable of but De Laet didn't put a foot wrong all game. Morgan had a good second half but him and Moore were caught napping in the first half far too often.
Harry - LCFC Posted 23 September 2013 Posted 23 September 2013 Amusing how some people can have such hugely contrasting opinions of a player. I usually have a tough time voting for our best player as performances don't vary too much in my experience, this game was no different. Voted for Konchesky myself but fully understand why someone might have voted for someone else. Hard to see how anyone thought he was appalling though - no-one was appalling against Blackpool and no-one was a superstar either.
