broughtonblue Posted 28 September 2013 Share Posted 28 September 2013 Was quite impressed at the numbers they bought for a tues night non league match, looked they sold out. Just been speaking to a derby supporting mate (I know!) and they had an offer on. Free coach and £10 per ticket! I along with you I paid £15. How come? Away fans getting better prices than us! Danizen Posted 28 September 2013 Share Posted 28 September 2013 It would have been subsidised by Derby, surely.
jonthefox Posted 28 September 2013 Share Posted 28 September 2013 It would have been subsidised by Derby, surely. Probably because they haven't paid the players a win bonus in awhile.

DCFC probably took the hit for the extra.Someone like Leicester Lass seems to know about these sort of things, also doesn't the club get an initial allocation and then if we request more that extra is bought by the away club ( their outgoing)and then sold on.....doubting myself now....ask Leicester lass!! The two clubs have to agree on a price before hand. If the club asks for any extra allocation they still have to pay for any seats that remain unsold, which is why so many clubs now take an initial allocation these days.
