I don't know how he's never got lost or is even alive. My friend thinks he acts the part and that he's actually a fairly intelligent bloke. You really believe that when Bernie gets home he washes the face paint off, peels his MON jacket off his back and sits down in front of the fire with a pipe while reading war and peace?

This maybe true. I remember seeing some reporters eagerly cornering him in Burnmore Street once. Chuckling to myself as I saw their faces turn into confusion. So I was completely shocked when I saw a little photo of Bernie in the Merc the following Monday with intelligent comments about us, Barcalona and European football. Now either your friend is right or they didn't have a clue what he was on about and made it up.

Corky Posted 16 January 2014 Posted 16 January 2014 The man has absolutely lost his marbles, I don't think he has a clue what is going on around him. He always seems to get on the correct trains though, I'm amazed he gets to games on his own.
