surrifox Posted 29 December 2013 Author Posted 29 December 2013 ha ha it mentions that in his first spell at the club his win ratio of 51.4% was the highest by any manager in the club's history (although in the context of league 1 which is not stated). Also states that the club is currently profitable for the first time in over 2 decades and does show him quite a thoughtful and phlegmatic character

Also states that the club is currently profitable for the first time in over 2 decades and does show him quite a thoughtful and phlegmatic character It's not profitable because of Nigel... He's assisted... Losses last year were 30m and wages were 29m... That's 577,000 a week, he's not cut the threat that much!! Ha done a great job though, but the owners and pr group are to thank for the profits without them we'd still be at a loss on wages... Nigel takes a massive slice of the praise though for cutting the cloth by a lot and having us top! I've doubted him a few times. But now I sincerely believe he is the man to take us forward.
MooseBreath Posted 29 December 2013 Posted 29 December 2013 The club being profitable is pretty big news. Did he expand on that at all? If we've been profitable for the whole season then that must mean we still have our £8m FFP limit to spend. Or maybe we're already at the limit for the season but have turned it around in recent months. Either way to be top of the league and profitable is incredible.
