Langston Posted 28 January 2014 Posted 28 January 2014 What about Lulinha? Or Kerlon, the "seal dribbler" - now plying his trade in the Japanese Third Division according to Wikipedia!

fazzyfox Posted 28 January 2014 Posted 28 January 2014 What about Lulinha? Or Kerlon, the "seal dribbler" - now plying his trade in the Japanese Third Division according to Wikipedia! I remember Kerlon and the hype that he could dribble whilst juggling the ball on his head making it impossible to be legally dispossessed thus changing the face of football as a contact sport forever etc I asked a Brazilian, football loving, work mate about him and he just replied "Who?"
One Legged Beaver Posted 29 January 2014 Posted 29 January 2014 Nani, had a good season or two when Ronaldo left but has just been awful for about 3 years now.
joeasis Posted 29 January 2014 Posted 29 January 2014 There's a few players that have played for us in recent years that come in to my mind, mainly loanees.. (Probably going to spell these names wrong) Kerrea Gilbert Van aahnholt Ryan smith (maybe a incorrect name, he was a winger?) Just to name a few
Kitchandro Posted 29 January 2014 Posted 29 January 2014 Shelvey is a little harsh, never really kicked on at Liverpool, granted, but he's starting to come into his own at Swansea and should probably be in the England team ahead of Cleverley. Neither of them should be anywhere near an England shirt.
Guest seanfox778 Posted 29 January 2014 Posted 29 January 2014 Massimo Maccarone & Alfonso Alves, thought they were going to set the Premier League alight when they signed for Boro. I remember seeing the former in an Italy U21 game Vs England before he joined them, think he scored twice and ripped England to shreds. As a kid I thought Stefan Oakes was going to be as good as Beckham haha.
