jumbo mills Posted 1 February 2014 Posted 1 February 2014 We have had 10 years of mediocrity, football goes in cycles and we have had long enough in a down time, us city fans deserve this, we stuck with them thru the thick and thin false dawns, it's a good time to be a city fan. Take it from this old codger we only do this about every 10 years we were spoilt with O Neill let's hope this good period lasts a few years!

My first season I started going regular was 2002/03 when we promoted under Adams. 11 years ago, I can't even really remember it. Had a season ticket since that season, sat through some horrid games (nearly every one between 2004 and 2008). Have so much respect and admiration for Nigel and the job he has done here. Was gutted when he left, we had a bit of a wobbly time in between, but I was so glad when he returned. Stuck by him personally, knew he was building something up which we can all see now. Just love being in the race for promotion, let alone being 10 points clear at the top of the league! Really hope we can keep this going and win promotion; it's been a very long time! Another great victory today, just brilliant.

I blame Wellens Posted 1 February 2014 Posted 1 February 2014 Yes well deserved. At 42 ive been lucky enough to see some great stuff over the years. The last ten years has been 'relatively' shocking in comparison. Premiership here we come. I remember people on this website over the last few years saying what's the point of going up we would lose every game. I imagine it was the youngsters who have never experienced it or old boys who were embittered by the club's plight. We are going up! And I hope it's the greatest party this club has ever had. I know Jamie Vardy will be enjoying himself.
