Matt Posted 16 August 2005 Posted 16 August 2005 Madonna is back at home recovering after falling off a horse while celebrating her 47th birthday.The singer has three cracked ribs, a broken collar bone and a broken hand as a result of the accident. She spent several hours being treated for her injuries at Salisbury District Hospital but was later discharged. The star was celebrating her birthday with her husband Guy Ritchie and her two children when the accident happened at the 1,200-acre Ashcombe House, the Material Girl's country residence in Tollard Royal on the Wiltshire-Dorset border. The singer's spokeswoman, Barbara Charone, said: "Madonna fell off a new horse she was riding on Tuesday afternoon at Ashcombe House, her country house outside of London. "She sustained three cracked ribs, a broken collar bone and a broken hand. "The star was celebrating her 47th birthday with her husband, film director Guy Ritchie and her two children, Lourdes and Rocco.'' Madonna has reinvented herself as an English country wife since meeting the Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels film director. She is reported to have recently taken up horse riding, booking lessons at Stag Riding Stables, near Richmond Park south-west London. Madonna's new album, which is described as "an all dance record'', is scheduled to be released in November. The singer also hopes to go on tour next summer. She's amazing for 47. MILF!
