If you heard it on the radio, you can try the radio station, they often post their playlists on their websites, likewise in a club, if it is a decent Dj they will often put their playlists up, if it wasn't a decent DJ, well you will probably here it again and again and again, until you are sick of it so wouldn't worry. If you heard it on TV, if it was an advert then google the advert, if it was on a TV program, then try watching it again on catch up, see if shazam will find it the second time, or try and distinguish more lyrics. If you still can't find it, well then there is no hope, unless it is this song: In which case it is Miss Alissa, by the Eagles of Death Metal.
