Rich Fox Posted 15 May 2014 Posted 15 May 2014 I think Knockaert gets a lot of put downs people saying he has no I pace and gives ball away, so many focus on the negatives with his so I don't really agree with your post
5_Westwood Posted 15 May 2014 Posted 15 May 2014 Schmeichel - rarely gets a mention apart from when he fvcks up (or scores headers in the last minute). If he signs, then next season in the Prem we will see how good he really is. I have always rated Kasper highly enough, think he's been absolutely Key over the last 2 seasons, not sure what people have made for him on here as I'm new but I rave about Kasper.
Julian Joachim Jr Shabadoo Posted 15 May 2014 Posted 15 May 2014 GTF. Definitely doesn't get the praise he deserves often, and plays his role very effectively. Don't judge a book and that

Poiseuille Posted 15 May 2014 Posted 15 May 2014 I'd say someone who hasn't been mentioned on here yet...Wes Morgan. Last season we were all raving about him, but this season, we're so accustomed to him being such a colossus at the back, he rarely gets a mention. They only time he does is if he doesn't have a 10/10 game and we pick up on a few minor mistakes. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
GorlestonFox Posted 15 May 2014 Posted 15 May 2014 Our top goal scorer for the season... David Nugent!
LeicesterBran Posted 15 May 2014 Posted 15 May 2014 Gary Taylor Fletcher: I don't know why some people on here seem to underestimate him. Yeah he may be fat but, he is a handy player who is good technically, great passer, is creative and can hold up the ball. The only bad game he had for us was against Manchester City.
LanguedocFox Posted 15 May 2014 Posted 15 May 2014 GTF and Hammond have both been slagged off on here, but I think they were both good signings, and have both performed really well when they have had the chance. And, best of all, they are both clearly team players, and want to play for the club: how many times could we have said that about bit-part players in the past? Of the regular team players, neither James nor Schlupp have got enough credit, and while De Laet has been mentioned in despatches, he's never been thought of as a potential star - like Drinkwater, Moore, Knocky or Mahrez. But, hey? How many times have you had to think through a City team to try and find a player who might not have had enough credit? Most of the past ten years we've been scraping the barrel to find the fastest fvckin donkey!
themotivator Posted 15 May 2014 Posted 15 May 2014 Chris wood... I know he's barely played, and what little positive contribution he has made has been totally dwarfed by the achievements of Vardy and Nuge, but feel like he deserves some credit. It must be hard not being the first choice striker.absolutely loved that burnley goal....and the one off his face...and the one that was kaspers.
LAprice_ Posted 15 May 2014 Posted 15 May 2014 I don't think Wasyl gets enough credit. Yeah people mention him being a beast, and a hard hitter, but not many would've expected him to keep Moore out of the first team for more or less the rest of the season after his injury. Before that everyone was saying Moore was one of the players of the season, and rightly so, and Wasyl came in and consistently played superb and kept him on the bench. Takes some doing. Well said! I think it's also fair to say that he's stole some of the limelight from Wes Morgan. Before, Wes was the strongest, oldest, most experienced, scariest, loudest CB at the club. Since Wasyl has come in, the hype surrounding Wes has decreased considerably.
the_enlightened_one Posted 15 May 2014 Posted 15 May 2014 Richie De Laet by a country mile, I know enough Leicester fans who don't rate him and I've seen many comments on here suggesting possible right back targets. WE DON'T NEED ONE. We have Moore and Wasilewski for cover and in Richie De Laet we have an impressive player who is just getting into his prime, I suspect he will be a Belgium regular by the end of next season. Gonna be a class act once he gets used to the Premier League.
Freeman's Wharfer Posted 15 May 2014 Posted 15 May 2014 Matty James. I'm still searching for a weakness to his game. The only one I can think of is that I think he takes a while to get going in a season. In both of his two seasons here he's had a slow start but then been top notch from December onwards. I think he might be one that will have to work hard over the summer to maintain his sharpness and fitness as I don't think it comes naturally.
Freeman's Wharfer Posted 15 May 2014 Posted 15 May 2014 In general: Andy King - such a classy player who does so many neat and clever little things that half of our fanbase seem to be blind to. Of course he goes missing if you can't notice some of the most important attributes of his game! This season: Richie De Laet - I've said it before and I'll say it again, he's so crucial to the style that we play. He's the only one in the squad who can cope being on the right side alone without a winger permanently in front of him. His pace gets him out of so many situations defensively and his ability to go on those lung-busting runs is a great outlet offensively.

Steve_Guppy_Left_Foot Posted 15 May 2014 Posted 15 May 2014 Wasyl, Nugent, GTF, Hammond, James, De Laet, Schlupp. All under-rated imo.
Agent Fox Posted 15 May 2014 Posted 15 May 2014 Agreed. Technically, I think he is the best in the squad. His touch is excellent. Da da daaaa Gary Taylor-Fletcher aka Mr Silk.
LanguedocFox Posted 16 May 2014 Posted 16 May 2014 If you read some of the media and most other fans' forums, all of our team apart from Kasper (based on his surname) are underrated. I can't count the number of times I've read that "City will need to sign eight or nine class players if they are to survive the Prem". They are in for a hell of a rude awakening.
Stadt Posted 16 May 2014 Posted 16 May 2014 The only thing that lets De Laet down is his crossing, I don't think he gets credit for his defensive work, I think he's pretty solid.
Buzzell Posted 16 May 2014 Posted 16 May 2014 Matty James. He is brilliant for us. Him and Drinkwater know each others games inside out. They have both played a pivotal part in the team this season, the heartbeat to our side. I can't wait to see how these two will handle the Premier League next season.
