Gené and Tonic Posted 20 August 2005 Posted 20 August 2005 He's a good acquisiton for Pearce, he scored a fair few goals last season, and still has a few more years left to come. He'll be Man City's top scorer this season I bet.
rossporterlc Posted 20 August 2005 Posted 20 August 2005 man city aren't a bad side, could push for europe but i think they'll miss SWP
Libertine Posted 20 August 2005 Posted 20 August 2005 man city aren't a bad side, could push for europe but i think they'll miss SWP 160197 Wish he didn't go Chelsea.
rossporterlc Posted 20 August 2005 Posted 20 August 2005 Wish he didn't go Chelsea. 160200 i would have liked to see him at arsenal tbh
Libertine Posted 20 August 2005 Posted 20 August 2005 Same here, I like Arsenal and I think he would of fitted in well with their style of play.
Matt Posted 20 August 2005 Posted 20 August 2005 i would have liked to see him at arsenal tbh 160203 Nah he ain't french/foreign...
Deathside Posted 21 August 2005 Posted 21 August 2005 man city aren't a bad side, could push for europe but i think they'll miss SWP 160197 I can't see what benefit the Socialist Workers Party were to Mancity
Gené and Tonic Posted 21 August 2005 Posted 21 August 2005 Wish he didn't go Chelsea. 160200 SWP said himself that he was amazed at the difference in standard at the training grounds of Chelsea and Man City, so he'll get better, but he's got to play of course
Hitesh Posted 21 August 2005 Posted 21 August 2005 I can't see what benefit the Socialist Workers Party were to Mancity 160302 Well i think Man City will miss SWP, any team would, but i think Pearce will do well there and they will be mid-table. Doubt they will make Europe.
rossporterlc Posted 21 August 2005 Posted 21 August 2005 would have loved to see him playin for arsenal this evening, instead he was on the winning team and played about 30mins, wow how lucky. wonder how much his winners medel will actually mean when he hasn't participated in the majority of matches

Anish Posted 21 August 2005 Posted 21 August 2005 Don't you have to play 8 or more matches to qualify for a winners medal anyway? 160559 Yes, but they can be substitute appearances too. So even if you come on in the 85th minute in 8 games (or whatever the number is) you'll still get the medal.
filbertway Posted 21 August 2005 Posted 21 August 2005 Yes, but they can be substitute appearances too. So even if you come on in the 85th minute in 8 games (or whatever the number is) you'll still get the medal. 160714 Thats why micky was always making late subs then?

Hitesh Posted 22 August 2005 Posted 22 August 2005 I think it is 10 games! I remember Arsenal kept bringing Adams or Keown in the last few Premiership games just so they get a medal!
