Guest Col city fan Posted 20 July 2014 Posted 20 July 2014 Banter aside, I think Mark W was pretty much spot on about Waghorn. I rated him more highly than Chris Wood personally. He just has a better all round game IMO. Then again, I'm not manager, the decision is made, we move on.

Waghorn failing to perform when pushed out on to the left wing, sounds all to familiar. He is probably getting a horrible sense of de ja vu, what is about some players that managers think they can play anywhere. Waghorn is the championship's James Milner.

Captain... Posted 10 August 2014 Posted 10 August 2014 You mean isn't. No I mean is, Milner's career has suffered massively due to being played out of position and him willing to do so to get a game. Milner is an attacking centre mid, and isn't a winger a full back or a defensive midfielder.

You are right, he isn't a winger, full back or a defensive midfielder but he doesn't do a bad job filling in them positions considering he's an attacking midfielder.

To be awarded an assist you need to provide a pass that isn't touched by an opponent, it might count Mark world but not the real one. Please read above review of someone who was at the game, dreadful and dragged halfway through the second half! Yeah out of position on the leftt wing.........we'll see how long that lasts
