I went to powerplay golf at Celtic Manor years ago, supposedly a new format of the game that was fast and fun to attract new people to the game. It didnt work. Kids dont want to play some waterred down game, they want to play REAL golf, because thats what Rory, Phil and Tiger do. Powerplay snooker. Bunk. No one wants to play it, they want the real game. Just play football properly. Or golf properly. Sounds like a crazy yank think like disc golf. A here today, gone tomorrow fad.

StanSP Posted 18 August 2014 Posted 18 August 2014 I reckon I'd enjoy this. Obviously love football and played a bit of golf but I haven't played the latter anywhere near consistently enough. I've probably played TopGolf (which is superb) more than I've played on a proper golf couse. Is that Cornwall one the only one around?
Jace Posted 18 August 2014 Author Posted 18 August 2014 It might be as its the 1st 1 in the UK and only been open a month, I've heard another 1 is opening local to here as this 1 has been so successful and busy but not sure how further its taken off yet. For years this course had been a par 3 golf course and tbh was the worst course I had played on every time you would go there would be lucky if you saw someone else there. Now the car park is full every time and a overflow car park has opened which is usually full too! Thankfully I did get 1st place this time!
