foz.foz Posted 7 September 2014 Posted 7 September 2014 Late 70's against Florist. Not sure of the score or team as I wasn't really into football then and was dragged along by my dad sitting in the old main stand at Filbo St. Next game I went to was Leicester against Sheffield UTD with a few mates where they won and went up. Baptism of fire that game was......

Ditto, I was 7, my dad kept a promise he made a year earlier. My next game was again to see the hammers ,with my dad a couple of years later. We won 2-0 Bobby Moore ruffling my hair and making a young lads day. I was 10 when I was first allowed to go alone with my best friend, that was then 64/65 season. 3-2 beating Wolves. 1st away game, that was with my uncle and cousins, West Ham 65/66 sesson 2-5 for city. 3 greats scored The Doug, Goodfellow, Jackie Sinclair, West ham became my 2nd favourite team in my childhood. oh leicesters todays younger fans hated dr hyde played that day , your own Harry Redknapp. Hammers and Leicester were recognised as the entertainers in those days. Unfortunately, the 3 scorers didnt stay much longer, broke many a fans heart.
Robin JD Popley Posted 8 September 2014 Posted 8 September 2014 Stevie Claridge's winner v Palace is my earliest memory of watching us BUT my first match at Filbert Street was a 1 - 0 win against Watford in the O'Neill years, with Muzzy scoring the winner. My Dad supported us from the 60s and myself, since the 90s. If I ever have kids - they will follow suit (already working on my nephews and nieces though with some good response!)
Chug Laguna Posted 8 September 2014 Posted 8 September 2014 I'm a Johnny-come-lately and my first memory of watching Leicester was with Paul Dickov at Elland Road (I think?) some time like 10-12 years ago or some such. Think the score was 4-0? It was fun. I was hammered.
Super_horns Posted 9 September 2014 Posted 9 September 2014 BUT my first match at Filbert Street was a 1 - 0 win against Watford in the O'Neill years, with Muzzy scoring the winner. Think that was a Sky game...
Mike the Metal Ed Posted 9 September 2014 Posted 9 September 2014 Going to FNF during the 1994-95 season. I only really remember matches against Newcastle Reserves and Hinckley Town.
