Today was a must-win too - we needed to win to keep pace with the playoff hopefuls, but now with 5 points out of 15 we are well behind the top teams. We need to get our act together or we'll end up repeating last season's shambles again.

I'm dissapointed but it looks as though luton will do very well this year. Come levein lets have 72 hours of solid shooting practise, and then 72 hours of taking corners.

cisono Posted 27 August 2005 Posted 27 August 2005 I didn't see the game (as I was travelling back to the UK). I was very disappointed to hear the result on the radio and wondered what had happened. From your comments and the match report, it seems that the team did not really play well (CL says many players underperformed), still LC had quite a few chances. But the refereeing was poor. It is very disappointing to lose by this margin (at home!) after the "solid" win the other day... Let's hope CL puts in serious shooting practice in between this and next match and that this pays off!!! <_<
