Stan Posted 10 January 2015 Posted 10 January 2015 That was hardly vintage from us was it lets be fair, decent performance and worthy of the points but I've seen us play better and not win. Villa, thankfully were one of the worst teams I've seen us play against this season. Yeah, well that's just, like your opinion, man. Villa didn't get out of second gear.

shailen Posted 10 January 2015 Author Posted 10 January 2015 villa were poor, probably the worst side we have played this season. For a team that were defensively solid, we ripped them apart. Although it would be nice to take some of our chances and not make me a nervous wreck for the last 10.

The confidence is beginning to grow and there's an element of self-belief starting to appear. I'm not sure this group of inexperienced (as far as the Prem is concerned) knew what to expect during the first half of the season but they're beginning to suss it all out now. I'm confident we can stay up as long as we continue to put in performances like today.
shailen Posted 11 January 2015 Author Posted 11 January 2015 if the worst is to happen and we are relegated this season then I believe its a big blow because we have played well almost in every game. We have been very consistent in our performances and its a mystery why we havent got more points. Ive said it before and Ill say it again, we are not the worst team in the league and hopefully our quality can turn into points from now on

Absolutely, with a bit more luck we could really start to pick points up and ascend the table. This team tore apart the championship, and we showed our strength in depth as knocky and Albrighton tore apart the villa defence.
