Wood out on Loan

I think Wood is a similar player in ability to Harry Kane. We all know what WE thought of that guy. Same as Wood. I rate the lad but don't think he'll ever get a run of games here again. He's a streaky instinctive striker but only a goal scorer. I don't think Nigel likes those one dimensional players. Ulloa scores but his defensive work rate is also pretty good, although the application of it isn't often the best. Not sure Wood works hard enough defensively go get that break. Shame really

I might get shot down for this but I genuinely believe GTF is a better player than Wood.

Taylor-Fletcher has a better range of passing, better first touch and a better football brain.

A 23 year old GTF is a better player than Wood, probably not now though because he's porky.

I like wood and I personally believe he needs a run of games. He's still not had a proper chance. I hope he gets a loan move bangs in the goals and comes back to us on form.

As for GTF, the only thing he's good at is passing. Which we have Cambiasso for. Sheffield Wednesday couldn't wait till he came back to us. GTF is league one level now.

If we are looking to loan him out there must be a very good chance someone is incoming

Pearson was happy for him to go in the summer.

So he may just be happy to get him off our wage bill.

He could not get past Vardy and Nuge last season what chance has he in the prem.

Wood is the new Waghorn couple of goals at the start and some think he is a god.

To many man crushes on this forum and a loan spell in the championship will not make him a prem player.

We have better players that have struggled to make the step up.
