EGBFitness Posted 4 January 2015 Posted 4 January 2015 Not a bad statistic as we didn't make it into opponents half for about 10 games
benpicko Posted 4 January 2015 Posted 4 January 2015 But we're not creating any chances, if we were Vardy would have 20 goals already according to most on here
Benguin Posted 4 January 2015 Author Posted 4 January 2015 Ah but were they cleat cut chances? I didn't write the stat but I think it means 158 times in the box in possession.
cc_star Posted 4 January 2015 Posted 4 January 2015 How does that compare to our rivals Also it's about team balance, we might gain someone who knows where the back of the net is, but lose someone who's putting a shift in helping prevent us conceding possession so often or contributing to creating that attacking possession through shear hard work Anyway, sign him up
Steve_Guppy_Left_Foot Posted 5 January 2015 Posted 5 January 2015 I didn't write the stat but I think it means 158 times in the box in possession. Having possession in an opponents box is not creating a chance.
Benguin Posted 5 January 2015 Author Posted 5 January 2015 Having possession in an opponents box is not creating a chance. You're right, it's called safe possession right?
Ibbyfox Posted 5 January 2015 Posted 5 January 2015 Surely creating a chance is an attempt on or off target, or a blocked shot? 158 chances in 20 league games equates to just under 8 chances a game - not a massive amount. But you'd think with the way we get excited about it that getting a corner was creating a chance.
