As my mate Ben put it: So yeah, Chris was on his way back from Leeds last night, stopped off at a service station, and saw Pete Doherty in front of him... Off his tits on something. He asked him how it was to play Leeds, and asked him how it was to see Bernard from the Tears again (As apparently he produced some early Libs stuff), and Pete flipped, started going on about "What had [Chris] heard about him and Bernard?", then tried to headbutt him... Missed cos he was drugged up, then got pulled back to the van by his people... Anyway, his car pulled up alongside Chris and his crew were really apologetic...

Up the Bracket is better...but yeah he is a cockend! A few of my mates met him when he was in the Libertines and said he was really sound. He's in with a bad crowd now, people after his money to feed their own drug habits getting him deeper and deeper into it, people like Wolfman. There's no way back for him I don't think, which is sad. I'm not a fan of Babyshambles they are to feed his drug habit basically + his voice is definitley worse than it was, but I love(d) Libertines everyone should listen to them despite what they think of Peter.

Oli Posted 30 August 2005 Posted 30 August 2005 Doherty is a idiot but a musical genius. I have only realised how good he was because of his performance at Leeds when he was actually normal. He was pure class. He needs to sort his life out now though, and concentrate on BabyShambles.
