Guest Col city fan Posted 9 February 2015 Posted 9 February 2015 Listening in tonight to the football forum. Stringer has been pretty much defensive of Pearson tonight actually.
Mark_w Posted 9 February 2015 Posted 9 February 2015 I loathe Ian Stringer, he's odious. But (and I missed the forum), I thought he handled Sunday night very well. Hardly the villain of this particular episode.
The Horse's Mouth Posted 9 February 2015 Posted 9 February 2015 Honestly, I don't understand why you could get angry with him having this view towards it. So many different outlets ran with the story and the club took a ****ing age to clarify what was going on.
Steve_Guppy_Left_Foot Posted 10 February 2015 Posted 10 February 2015 Yeah but his business card says sports journalist, so that's what he is. My business card says pimp, but I've not got any whores.
Grewks Posted 10 February 2015 Posted 10 February 2015 The reason people dislike Stringer's views is because of his bias. Now, I'm not referring to his bias towards Leicester city...but his bias towards whatever story would be the more controversial. You only have to listen to the radio after games recently....like palace for example. Elliott, despite sounding monotone and boring, fully understands the situation we are in, but also understands that our performance against palace was decent. He understands where the club is at...and how a relegation battle in the premier league is the greatest achievement this club has had in the last decade. Stringer just looked to bash pearson at every opportunity.
KFS Posted 10 February 2015 Posted 10 February 2015 Listening in tonight to the football forum. Stringer has been pretty much defensive of Pearson tonight actually. Yeah, I've actually reacted to a misinterpretation of the thread title. He says twice that "he's not convinced that he's been sacked" not the other way round... Got to hold my hands up here, Stringer did well on Sunday.
