Number 6 Posted 15 February 2015 Posted 15 February 2015 5 clean sheets all season and 4 of those hasd Hamer in goal. It's that simple for me. None of the 3 are perfect by any stretch, but Hamer seems most likely to be part of a successful defensive unit.
Steve_Guppy_Left_Foot Posted 15 February 2015 Posted 15 February 2015 Definitely not a knee jerk one, this, Hamer is playing better, dropping him in the first place was lunacy imo.

Hamer compliments the team better Schwarzer will see us lose every remaining game if he maintains his current record If he starts on Saturday, Pearson can join him in fvcking off... And I didn't want Pearson gone
EGBFitness Posted 15 February 2015 Posted 15 February 2015 Hamer should never of been dropped in the first place.
RedSoxUK Posted 15 February 2015 Posted 15 February 2015 I couldn't stand Hamer's kicking, as my argument over Schmeichel vs Hamer. But for Schwarzer vs Hamer, it's a no brainer. Regardless of experience or distribution, Hamer is just the better Goalkeeper. I think the players feel more comfortable with him behind them. I'd rather give away a throw-on on the half-way line, than concede another shitty goal - Scwarzer's shot stopping has been questionable in every game he's played, and to me, that has to be addressed NOW, we have to decide whether we want Hamer as our starting Goalkeeper, cause I can't see Schmeichel sticking around when we're not in the Prem, and he's not good for the money he's on. Give Hamer a go, might as well.
AyewJoking Posted 15 February 2015 Posted 15 February 2015 If any player is out of form they can be replaced. If they're not then the non-playing members of the squad will eventually up and go. Schwarzer will be aware that he's cost us in the last couple of matches, so he shouldn't be surprised if he's on the subs bench for the next one. Where was that post i made saying you dont swap being a back up keeper at Chelsea for being a back up keeper at Leicester? Schwarzer will be in goal ubtil he's injured.
Max Power Posted 15 February 2015 Posted 15 February 2015 He's got another year left after this remember. Sir Nige will have him as our number 1 next year aged 43.
TOMBlcfc Posted 15 February 2015 Posted 15 February 2015 It's like sunday league. The manager playing his mate even though he's played absolute dogshite in the past few games. ****ing ridiculous! Deffo need to get Hamer back in the team. Got to say despite the criticism he gets i feel safest when kasper is in goal
