Rincewind Posted 28 March 2015 Posted 28 March 2015 ATM I am happy to be in Leicester. In 5-10 years I would consider moving to the Lake District to be near some of the rest of my family. I do not want to be approaching my 80's alone in a flat far from family. It depends on my health and mobility. A quiet village with a local pub close by would be a nice way to spend my remaining years. Mind my mother is in her 80's My brother up there 65, sister and brother in their 50's. Brother in Leicester just turned 60 last October so none of us are spring chickens.

DANGEROUS TIGER Posted 28 March 2015 Posted 28 March 2015 Straffpeffer, in the far north east of Scotland. Love the peace and quiet, and easy to get to places like Inverness, which is a good shopping town.

The Doctor Posted 28 March 2015 Posted 28 March 2015 Best: Craven Worst: Lambeth Best Near You: Pendle I live closer to Craven than Pendle going by the description - Skipton is about 10 minutes away by train.
m4DD0gg Posted 28 March 2015 Posted 28 March 2015 I saw that Market Harborough was in some BBC top town and was quite shocked. The place has a nasty undertone and full of smack heads and a huge underground pikey scene on the outskirts of the town that the police refuse to tackle......place was never the same since they shut the broadway.
DANGEROUS TIGER Posted 29 March 2015 Posted 29 March 2015 Without doing the quiz I can tell you it's Leeds or Harrogate for me I was in Harrogate last summer. It is lovely, and "Betty's Tearooms" are out of this world. When we came out, there was a massive line of people, waiting to get in! I used to live in Leeds, and so, visited the Harrogate quite often.
