Best place - Craven (where?)

Worst - Newham

Best near you - Oadby and Wigston

I do like Oadby. Out of places I've been in England, I think I'd most like living in Durham

Same as me. Except I got SW London as worst.

Best: Ribble Valley

Worst: Outer Hebrides

Where I live: 77%

Best nearby: Blaby

The 2nd and 3rd responses make sense. Although I like to visit the country, I'm a townie - and Leicester is OK (no better).

Not sure about Ribble Valley or Blaby, though. Sound a bit too rural/suburban. We used to live in Oadby and I prefer being further into Leicester.

Harrogate

Divorce or a reformed, long-distance marriage on the cards, Davie?

Ely to Harrogate would be a bit of a trek. There's a bus service from Market Harborough to Oadby, though....

In reality neither of us are keen on Oadby, maybe in the past but it's deteriorated badly. We both like MKt Harborough though.

As for elsewhere I don't think either if us have a desire to move further north. MrsG's dream is to live at the coast preferable within a stones throw of the beach in a sandy cove, as different to Harrogate as you could get  :P

Top ten most peaceful places to live in England and Wales http://metro.co.uk/2013/04/24/top-10-most-peaceful-places-in-britain-3664335/

No city areas, probably not in the top 100.

I live in Mid Sussex, number 8 on the list of the most peaceful places to live.  There are some quiet villages around but the three towns mentioned are hardly peaceful.  There are a lot of commuters based in those towns and while they may not be very lively, peaceful is pushing it a bit.

I'd swap Mid Sussex for Cornwall, where I used to live, any day.

My best was Lewes at 65% and my worst was Yarmuff at 51% so basically it doesn't really matter where I live.

I got about 54% for Leicester and I could improve to 56% if I moved to Oadby.

What a crock of shit.
