London_Fox Posted 3 October 2006 Share Posted 3 October 2006 Will anyone here be travelling to London after the Villa game? I reckon if it goes to extra time we won't make the last train...any ideas?
Floating Fox Posted 3 October 2006 Share Posted 3 October 2006 I doubt you will anyway, the last sotuhbound train is at an awfull times. (when i say awfull i mean early) If you remember when we played Derby away mid week you couldnt get back to leicester after the game.
Floating Fox Posted 3 October 2006 Share Posted 3 October 2006 Last train leaves at 2200. gets into St.Pancras at 2332 So that measn u'll struggle even if the game stays in normal time

Guest Gist Posted 4 October 2006 Share Posted 4 October 2006 Have you thought about looking at National Express they normally run quite late.
Benji Posted 4 October 2006 Share Posted 4 October 2006 I think the game is during my 'reading week' so i wont have to get the train to london at that time, if i do.... uh oh the only answer would be to leave a few minutes before the end... let's be honest we'll be losing 3-0 by the end
Finnegan Posted 4 October 2006 Share Posted 4 October 2006 Accomodation isn't a problem, I can stay with my parents. But I'm in uni the next day and I'm already missing a Wednesday to go to Wales vs. Cyprus. Have to try and get back that night, if I can.

Surreal Madrid Posted 9 October 2006 Share Posted 9 October 2006 The London Branch of the SC organise cheap rail travel to all games outside London for which there is a return rail service, which rules out midweek home games as generally you have to miss the last few minutes to ensure catching the 10.00. They do organise car travel to mid-week away games ( like Hereford ) and on a more ad-hoc basis for mid-week home games. If anyone is interested in the cheap rail travel or anything else call Kevin Wells on 01279 427431 ( w ).

Floating Fox Posted 11 October 2006 Share Posted 11 October 2006 I thought cockneys were based in the south?? :pinch: yes but its for them to come up from the south to us in the north. The main reason would be becasue the depot is in Sheepland
