gibbom Posted 19 April 2008 Posted 19 April 2008 i havn't heard anything but is anyone out of contract in the summer apart from the people like zsolt, bori and worley who are on loan and going back to there respective clubs
Matt Posted 19 April 2008 Posted 19 April 2008 I'd pay all of their contracts off, It'd be expensive very expensive, but worth it and tbh the only real way I can see us going forward - And that includes our "better" players.
gibbom Posted 19 April 2008 Author Posted 19 April 2008 didn't we pay off rab douglas's contract but he still seems to be at leicester,in fact he was on the bench a few weeks ago

lookwhaticando Posted 19 April 2008 Posted 19 April 2008 We've signed Worley with the option of signing him permanently in the summer I think. It's not an 'option' I don't think... anything that mentions him joining us has said that he will sign a three year contract in the summer.

backinthebigtime Posted 20 April 2008 Posted 20 April 2008 Great, so not only a dreadful season to put behind us but nearly all of the players who have got us into this mess will be here next season as well...unless we "reward" them for their sterling work by paying up their contracts...what a joke.

When trying a good side you need to hang on to your best players. I think Fryatt will be off in the summer, and we wont get what we turned down last summer.

backinthebigtime Posted 20 April 2008 Posted 20 April 2008 how can you blame Logan for our position this season? he hasn't played for us all season I was just making the point that I do not think he will ever be af a standard that we require and should let him move on.
Lichfieldfox. Posted 20 April 2008 Posted 20 April 2008 So of the loanees who would you sign? Whats happened to Etuhu? I'd keep Bell and Hendrie if we can. The rest can return home. Of our players out on loan I'd keep Gradel and Odihambo. Maybe keep Hayes but the rest I'd ship out asap.
