Simi Posted 4 March 2007 Author Posted 4 March 2007 Foster Richards Terry Rio Cole/Baines Walcott Gerrard Huddlestone (forgot about him, hes a beast) Cole Rooney Is it sturridge who plays for Man City? I think it is that Sturridge yes. Cattermole at Boro too. He could have a good future some think.
Head Honcho Posted 4 March 2007 Posted 4 March 2007 Didn't we have a potential squad of world beaters four years ago? ..........and the four years before that ..........and the four years before that Until the FA is given a complete shakedown from top to bottom England will win nothing.
Mark Posted 4 March 2007 Posted 4 March 2007 Ben Foster Micah Richards John Terry Rio Ferdinand Ashley Cole Aaron Lennon Steven Gerrard Giles Barnes/Tom Huddlestone Joe Cole Wayne Rooney Theo Walcott Victor Moses of Crystal Palace has looked awesome whenever I've seen him - reminds me of Rooney. Hopefully he comes on well in the next few years, he's got a ridiculous amount of skill.
Simi Posted 4 March 2007 Author Posted 4 March 2007 Some seem to think that Richards will move to centre back ? I personally think he can do a job at right back power and pace are good attributes for a right back but his crossing and passing is suspect at times.
Fez of Mahrez Posted 4 March 2007 Posted 4 March 2007 Carl Pentney Joe Magunda Joe Mattock Scott Lycett Richard Stearman Levi Porter Tom Tejan-Sie Ryan Beswick Ashley Chambers Louis Dodds Craig King
JoeyB Posted 4 March 2007 Posted 4 March 2007 Carl Pentney Joe Magunda Joe Mattock Scott Lycett Richard Stearman Levi Porter Tom Tejan-Sie Ryan Beswick Ashley Chambers Louis Dodds Craig King awsome england team, we'll walk away with that
Simi Posted 4 March 2007 Author Posted 4 March 2007 awsome england team, we'll walk away with that.... ....empty handed.

Simi Posted 4 March 2007 Author Posted 4 March 2007 don't think Lennon will be in contention by then, flatters to deceive me thinks. how about Gareth Southgate for manager? Rather see Pearce than Southgate any day.
Webbo Posted 4 March 2007 Posted 4 March 2007 Rather see Pearce than Southgate any day. i always thought southgate would make a good manager when he was a player. not doing bad for his first season. pearce seems to be on the slide a bit to me.
Sods Posted 4 March 2007 Posted 4 March 2007 i watched a england under 19s game vs slovakia last season. And the lad Lee holmes was absoultely awesome in that game, everyone wanted to see walcott but he was poor compared to Holmes. Holmes was playing for Derby (i think) at the time but i don't no where he is now. Also jimmy smith, nathan dyer and anythony grant look top players for the future. Unfortunately 2 of those play for chelsea and they might not go for youth.
lildave3 Posted 4 March 2007 Posted 4 March 2007 If i was to pick a future england side that contains none of the current line-up, i'd go for: Foster Richards Davies Mancienne/Taylor Baines Barnes Huddlestone Cattermole Walcott/Dyer Nugent Agbonlahor/Sturridge

Simi Posted 4 March 2007 Author Posted 4 March 2007 Richards was been in the last England squad. I think he means current qualification team.
lildave3 Posted 4 March 2007 Posted 4 March 2007 Richards was in the last England squad. As was Foster. But i mean the number 1 choices, such as Robbo, Gary Neville etc.
Gené and Tonic Posted 4 March 2007 Posted 4 March 2007 What about Scott Sinclair..could be in contention
Joe. Mancienne No Rooney? Come on ld3 sort it out...
Sods Posted 4 March 2007 Posted 4 March 2007 Barnes/Walcott and not Lennon? Mancienne No Rooney? Come on ld3 sort it out... i think he was trying to get rid of the 1st teamers in now
lildave3 Posted 4 March 2007 Posted 4 March 2007 Barnes/Walcott and not Lennon? Mancienne No Rooney? Come on ld3 sort it out... I class Lennon as a first teamer now, otherwise he would be in straightaway. Rooney of course, is out for the same reason, but i would have thought that would have been obvious
