Dylan Posted 2 August 2010 Posted 2 August 2010 I'm sure the sun has said he's going to leave a few times! And Wigan, Wolves, Hull and Ipswich? Ipswich- a down move. Hull- definitely not going higher (although he could wanna relink with NP). And Wigan and Wolves are both relegation favourites, and probably wouldn't be 1st team. And ONLY £1.5 million! Wouldn't let him go for anything less than at LEAST £3-4 million.
Fox You Forest Posted 2 August 2010 Posted 2 August 2010 I'm amazed it's taken this long for him to come up tbh, so Sousa is selling him to raise funds for other players and then on the very next line we're close to securing investment. With Howard off to Huddersfield, Dj going to Blackpool and Matty off, poor old Leon will have to do a job up top on his own...
Guest Mee-9 Posted 2 August 2010 Posted 2 August 2010 The Sun has about as much shit on the sports section, as the toilet roll I used when I had a touch of sunstroke.

Dan Posted 3 August 2010 Posted 3 August 2010 Would demand at least £5mil off a club that are actually worth the time of day, not these fvcking small time cvnts.

With all due respect Sousa was after Pablo last season at swansea but he couldn't agree personal terms........the talk on our forum TWTD, is that it's gonna be a swap......Fryatt for Pablo.......... I'd be more than happy with that....sorry guys...... Fryatt is one of the players I have always liked to watch at the Walkers...... just know if it happens my kids will try to sneak into Portman Road wearing their leicester shirts, which already have Fryatt printed on the back!

Pablo Counago in a swap deal with Fryatt? You must be fooking dreaming.
Fox You Forest Posted 3 August 2010 Posted 3 August 2010 Fryatt for Pablo Your forum sounds like a fun place.
kellyjo Posted 3 August 2010 Posted 3 August 2010 Pablo Counago in a swap deal with Fryatt? You must be fooking dreaming. Indeed, but a dream that could, for all intents and purposes happen.....especially if Sousa is as keen on Pablo as he was last season........... I actually think Counago would be a good player for Leicester....you seem to have the right framwork for a player of his character......he holds the ball up well and with the right players around him could score a lot of goals....... unfortunately our current squad doesn't seem to suit him and he appears to constantly be at loggerheads with Keane so ho hum....... let's see what happens
kellyjo Posted 3 August 2010 Posted 3 August 2010 Your forum sounds like a fun place. Have a look if you can be bothered.........it's actually mostly a group of old codgers arguing about how good/sh1t Keane is and moaning/whinging about the lack of transfer action.......mixed in with boobs and general smut

Seriously though it's never going to happen.

Counago is no where near the level of Fryatt. And I seriously doubt He'd be after Counago now after the signing of Crncic. Let's face it, Paulo won't just swap one of our best players for someone who can't get into your first team.

When you're out of favour with the manager it doesn't matter who you are.....you ain't getting a place in the team....not even as a sub, which is how it was towards the end of last season. Keane's well renouned for not pulling punches........he transfer listed 8 players because he "didn't like them".........anything is possible in this game fellas
Ozwin Posted 3 August 2010 Posted 3 August 2010 If Sousa has any ounce of sense he'll know how much Fryatt means to the fans and how important to us he is in big games. He's not stupid, he's going to look back at the numbers and what Fryatt is capable of. And Sousa is nothing like Keane. I'd be terrified for my club's safety if I had that mentalist in charge.
Jordan Posted 3 August 2010 Posted 3 August 2010 anything is possible in this game fellas No. Definitely not.

Unfortunately the fans don't get a say in who comes and goes........ if we did we definitely wouldn't have chosen to be renamed the sunderland / ireland B team....believe me. It's just the link there with Pablo that makes me curious as to whether Sousa would try and secure him at Leicester.....fresh start n all that.....he obviously rates him to have wanted him at Swansea
Fox You Forest Posted 3 August 2010 Posted 3 August 2010 he obviously rates him to have wanted him at Swansea Think that says more about Shefki Kuqi than it does Counago tbh.
kellyjo Posted 3 August 2010 Posted 3 August 2010 I think it's way past your bedtime pal. I'm not here for an argument love, just wondered if there was any truth in the rumours floating around as I haven't read anything about Fryatt leaving in the Mercury or online anywhere...... and obviously if it was true what your feelings were on the situation. Despite being a tractorgirl I have lived in Leicester for 15 years and had a season ticket for leicester for 2 years so that I could take the kids to watch and if you look on our forum I have blatently posted that I can't believe for one minute you'd sell Fryatt......got a real shock when i logged in and a link to the sun article had been put on here.
kellyjo Posted 3 August 2010 Posted 3 August 2010 Think that says more about Shefki Kuqi than it does Counago tbh. ahhhh TWTD, Kuqi and Bent upfront....... I remember watching the game in the family stand at Leicester with my old boss.....hiding my ipswich shirt under my coat for fear of getting lynched! If I remember rightly that was the game where Jordan Stewart injured Kuqi and ruined our season.....10 points clear and we well and truly fecked it up!
FrankieADZ Posted 3 August 2010 Posted 3 August 2010 if its true seems a backward step for the 2 year plan, Selling ur better players aint gonna help. Also, some of the crap in the Sun isnt worth peeing on if it was on fire,
Guest Bilo Posted 3 August 2010 Posted 3 August 2010 The Sun really does print some gash. The same Wigan that signed the cheaper Victor Moses in January because they didn't want to cough up the readies for Fryatt? The same Ipswich that are after a player who already wants to leave his skint club in Michael Chopra? The same Hull who have openly said that Nigel Pearson will have no money to spend? They then follow this up by reporting the imminent investment that will enable us to laugh off pretty much any bid, let alone one just to create extra funds.
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 3 August 2010 Posted 3 August 2010 The Sun can be a load of shit. Hull have already came out and said they wont be buying any more players so where are they going to get £1.5 mill from?
