SeCrEt FoX Posted 3 August 2010 Posted 3 August 2010 http://www.twtd.co.uk/ Halfway down the page is a poll on where they will finish next season ive clicked relegation anyone else think so? it will surely make their stats interesting if everyone had a go
Ashley Posted 3 August 2010 Posted 3 August 2010 What a load of shit, we'd be stupid to sell him. Who would we get to replace him with £1.5M? He can score goals at this level and will continue to do so this season. If we sold him and if I was Sousa I would want about £3/4m minimum.
Jimothy Posted 3 August 2010 Posted 3 August 2010 The report on East Midlands Today said Leicester will listen to offers followed by a statement from the club saying the rumour had no substance. Muppets.
Guest ttfn Posted 3 August 2010 Posted 3 August 2010 If we kept Campbell and sold Fryatt another little part of this club would die. DJ has been desperate to get out of here for years, hasn't done anything for this club and is now Mr Popular under new management, and on the back of some pre-season performances has become popular with a large section of the fans. Fryatt has never angled for a move (to my knowledge), has performed extremely well in 3 of the 5 seasons he's been here, and, what's more is our longest serving first team regular by a country mile. I'm sure Fryatt's no saint, and his contract negotiations last year smacked of the opportunism you'd expect from anyone in that position, but we've got to try and keep hold of somebody like him: an honest pro who is maturing into a really fine footballer, and who has become something of an institution here.
J.Lisemore Posted 3 August 2010 Posted 3 August 2010 Think we should be at least holidng out for £3 million. I agree. If Chopra is worth the 4-5M people are talking about then Fryatt should be in and around that area.
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 3 August 2010 Posted 3 August 2010 I agree. If Chopra is worth the 4-5M people are talking about then Fryatt should be in and around that area. Considering we sold David Connoly for a total of £3 million, I would say Fryatt at £3million is about right.
Guest Posted 3 August 2010 Posted 3 August 2010 Considering we sold David Connoly for a total of £3 million, I would say Fryatt at £3million is about right. Do you not think the value of a decent striker has changed in the last 5 years?
Corky Posted 3 August 2010 Posted 3 August 2010 Considering we sold David Connoly for a total of £3 million, I would say Fryatt at £3million is about right. Real shame we had to let Connolly go. Managed to get him scoring regularly and then leaves.

Guest NGoloMode Posted 3 August 2010 Posted 3 August 2010 I agree. If Chopra is worth the 4-5M people are talking about then Fryatt should be in and around that area. I thought Cardiff wanted 3mil for him. I rate Chopra a lot higher than Fryatt in all honesty.

Well said. I love Matty.

kellyjo Posted 3 August 2010 Posted 3 August 2010 I agree. If Chopra is worth the 4-5M people are talking about then Fryatt should be in and around that area. Although the highest bid for chopra so far is only 2.2m
Sk4 Posted 3 August 2010 Posted 3 August 2010 I remember when we wanted to sign fulop from Sunderland when keane was manager and he put a ridiculous figure on him so if he thinks he can get matty on the cheap he should think again in my opinion
Leicfox Posted 4 August 2010 Posted 4 August 2010 http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/sport/football/3078885/Matty-Fryatt-set-to-exit-Leicester.html Good old Sun. MATTY FRYATT is set for the Leicester exit to raise transfer cash for new boss Paulo Sousa. Fryatt, 24, the Foxes 13-goal leading scorer last season, would command a £1.5million fee and Wigan, Wolves, Hull and Ipswich are all keen. MILAN MANDARIC is close to a deal with an Asian consortium who plan to invest in Leicester. Group members were guests of the Foxes owner at Saturday's friendly with Sunderland.
Alexikokopops Posted 4 August 2010 Posted 4 August 2010 Clever old you..........good job no one takes any notice of the polls on the forum eh! I'll have you know I base all my football knowledge on random website polls
breadandcheese Posted 4 August 2010 Posted 4 August 2010 If we sold Fryatt for £1.5 million, whilst rejecting a £1 million bid for DJ, a player who has done very little here other than bleed the club of money and whose contract is up next summer allowing him to leave on a free, I would be flabbergasted.
s11nny Posted 4 August 2010 Posted 4 August 2010 haha the sun Fryatt aint going anywhere lads...chill.
demon_dog Posted 4 August 2010 Posted 4 August 2010 Page 53 of yesterdays Sun. FRYATT'S FOX TROT. Matty Fryatt is set for the Leicester exit to raise transfer cash for new boss Paulo Sousa. Fryatt the Foxes 13 goal leading scorer last season would command a £1.5 million fee and Wigan,Wolves, Hull and Ipswich are all keen. Surpised no has mentioned this ( or have I missed something?), your thoughts.
Cant_Fox_You Posted 4 August 2010 Posted 4 August 2010 Bring Yann back off his loan in 6 months, sell him and bring back Iain Hume.
ousefox Posted 4 August 2010 Posted 4 August 2010 Bring Yann back off his loan in 6 months, sell him and bring back Iain Hume. or not
DJ Barry Hammond Posted 4 August 2010 Posted 4 August 2010 Hmmmm - should we be warry of a random poster from another club with what appears a redicolous story? I remember the last time we poured scorn on a similar rummour a lot had to eat humble pie shortly after.
