Goat Posted 4 January 2007 Posted 4 January 2007 Looks as though the dreaded ipod curse has come to pass. I read something a few years back about the ipod only lasting about a year and a half before it stopped working. Well about 15 minutes ago, mine stopped working. I have tried everything i know but the screen is stuck and it won't reset. If it is broken, i shall need to replace it. Now i have got used to carrying my whole library in my pocket i don't think i can go without it. Anyone with an Ipod / Other sizable mp3 player should know what i'm talking about. So what i wanted to know is, Would you go with another ipod, or do you know anything else that is as good? I have my whole library on itunes so something that can synchronize with that would be best. Thats the only way i can turn it on at the moment and its driving me mad. Does anyone know if i buy a new i-pod, can i transfer my entire library straight across to the new one?

You have to set your iPod up for use as a Hard Disk, its under the iPod section in iTunes when you plug your iPod in. If anyones getting a new one they could wait til Christmas and get an this Ipod with a built in phone (amongst other stuff)

Some people may thing that it looks sexy...some may think it looks very white - but one thing is for certain: the batteries will be crap and the covering will suffer if you brush it against anything.
