Anish Posted 10 January 2007 Posted 10 January 2007 iphone someone post a picture please never seen it before that looks brill where can it be brought from? (if you know) and how much? Jeez, do you actually know what the internet is for? There's more online than just Foxestalk, you could easily find out anything you want with the click of a button and the pressing of some keys.

syston_fox Posted 10 January 2007 Posted 10 January 2007 Well I took my knackered i-pod into a shop to see if they could repair it....... they couldnt even turn the damn thing on. Left it with them and came back an hour later to find that they'd managed to turn it on and said they couldnt find anything wrong with it. Surley the fact that it wouldnt turn on at first proves that somethings not right??? He then said that when it can't be turned on and has to be reset, its because the i-pod has crashed which (and this is the bit when i stopped taking him seriously) was down to the fact that I use windows and have Norton Antivirus installed on my computer.
Wils Posted 10 January 2007 Posted 10 January 2007 My creative Zen buggerd up and just took it back and they just replaced it. Had my receipt but the guarentee had run out.

Wils Posted 10 January 2007 Posted 10 January 2007 That's border-line criminal. But it's probably no less than they deserved. I know But i actually dropped it,soon after it started playing up so that may have had something to do with it
Babylon Posted 10 January 2007 Posted 10 January 2007 Apple sucks. The computers suck, iPods suck, the iPhone sucks - it may look sexy but it all sucks. Well as someone who has used macs and pcs for 10 years I can say that macs beat pcs hands down. Have you ever even owned or used one?
Daggers Posted 10 January 2007 Posted 10 January 2007 Well as someone who has used macs and pcs for 10 years I can say that macs beat pcs hands down. Have you ever even owned or used one? It was tongue in cheek...but to answer your question: Yup, I certainly have - I've been using macs and pc's since they were launched.

syston_fox Posted 10 January 2007 Posted 10 January 2007 Nope because the on button on an i-pod is the same as the "play/pause" button and that works fine when its actually on. Seems to be working ok at the moment so god knows whats going on with it?!?!
Babylon Posted 11 January 2007 Posted 11 January 2007 It was tongue in cheek...but to answer your question: Yup, I certainly have - I've been using macs and pc's since they were launched. Fair enough if it was tongue in cheek. I find people always get hung up on the looks with macs. The number of times people say that it only looks good and offers nothing else. For me it's not the looks (which help) but the operating systems that set macs and pcs apart. Apple are now the innovators out there, which is shown by how Microsoft scramble to replicate everything they do. Ipod / Zune, OsX / Vista. Problem is they are too far behind, by the time they bring out there new gadget apple bring out something new to wipe the floors with it. Apple move to where the ball is going to be, not where it has been. I should get a job in their promotions department ha ha.
Daggers Posted 11 January 2007 Posted 11 January 2007 I should get a job in their promotions department ha ha. Try customer services instead, dealing with all the recalls and complaints
Babylon Posted 11 January 2007 Posted 11 January 2007 Try customer services instead, dealing with all the recalls and complaints No thanks It will take a few generations of this before it really gets going. When it does i'm getting one. Anyway, many of the poblems people have with ipods can actually be sorted easily. They just don't read the instructions or look at the online help. Any problem I have had there was always a quick and easy way to sort it. Not always the case obviously.
Matt Posted 11 January 2007 Posted 11 January 2007 I have my PC which is what I have always used to update my iPod, but have just bought a Laptop and have added loads of new music on my laptop, Just plugged my iPod into my Laptop and a message came up saying; "An iPod can be synced with only one iTunes library at a time. Erasing and syncing replaces the content of this iPod with the contents of this iTunes library" It then gives me the options - "Erase and Sync" or "Cancel" So does that mean I can't keep my current songs on my iPod and update the songs of my laptop? Or is there a way of keeping all the songs I have on my iPod and also update my iPod on my laptop? Does that make sense?

No Mac shit. http://www.archos.com/ I had an AV120, a couple of years back. It was shit to an unbelievable degree. There is a rumour (I just made up) that Archos customer service provided the structure and training for Ryan Air - simply damn awful. I'm loathed to get another product of theirs.
