FilboFox Posted 11 December 2007 Posted 11 December 2007 The FoXes Talk Factor is here... similar to the X Factor on ITV 1 it will be for songs but on here they will be chosen and played via YouTube by those who sign up! ---------- Here's what will happen if it gets the go-ahead: 1. You will sign up on this thread (please don't chat on there, just sign your name up and chat on this thread) and there is no limit to the amount of people that sign up initially. 2. Once you have placed your name in the list, you will then send me a message saying which song you have chosen to be played on your behalf in the 'auditions'. If you don't, you won't be participating. 3. I will then randomly select a group of participants to go head to head in the 'auditions' (at a later date) and depending on how many sign up, a certain number will go through after the voting finishes. You will see a list of songs and links to the YouTube site so you can listen to them. 4. The voting will be in a poll style open to all who wish to vote... however... you will not be able to see the name of the person who selected the song in the list... you will be voting for the song alone. 5. If the person who selected the song tells everyone which song is there's or hints at which one it is, they will be eliminated. 6. Once the 'auditions' are finished, we hopefully will have a certain amount of contestants left (probably around 12) and then, week by week, the 'finalists' will have to submit a song... if you fail to do so, I will select a song for you which may or may not be a good thing!! Then, similarly to the 'auditions' the rest of the board will vote for their favourite song without seeing the name of the person who selected it. 7. If you fail to submit a song too many weeks in a row then you will be eliminated from the competition! - I like being mean! 8. Once we are down to the final 4 the remaining 'finalists' will have to submit 2 songs and then the combined total of their two songs will lead to their score and whether they go through or not. ---------- If you see any other things that need to be addressed then please let me know on here... I just thought that it would be a good idea... a little competition for all those who wanted to join in! AUDITIONS: Sign up and submit songs before 20:00 hrs on January 10th 2008. FINALS: Once the competition starts, songs must be in by Friday at 20:00 hrs. Voting will open on Saturday at 18:00 hrs and close at 22:00 hrs on Sunday.

When it gets down to the finals, I think I will want the songs IN by Friday at 20:00 hrs. Voting will open on Saturday at 18:00 hrs. Voting will close at 22:00 hrs on Sunday... someone will need to close the poll otherwise votes will keep coming in... and may be charged! lol

Just send me the song choice via private messaging and I will find the clip on YouTube and then you will be able to click on the link to watch it once the competition starts.
