Lillehamring Posted 19 March 2009 Posted 19 March 2009 oh yes, that's right - a collection of norwegian based Leicester fans beat off premiership competition to win the British Footbal Supporters Union British Football Pub quiz, last friday night! The event was hosted by 'Norway's Ray Stubbs' and hosted at the '''Two Dogs" pub in Oslo. Even more impressive was that 3 of the 5 team members were FoxesTalkers, myself, Norfox74, and Ivar (who says he posts here but i can't find him) who is also the webmaster of the excellent (if in need of an update or two) city website http://www.norfox.net/. This was a seriously tough quiz, with our boys triumphing with 26 out of 40 points (bear in mind that the losing team managed only 3!) De har nå vunnet flere av våre quizkvelder og er quizens ukronede mestere. Det er kanskje ikke uten grunn de har kallenavnet The Foxes.(They have won most of our quizzes and are the uncrowned champions. It is maybe not without reason they are called the foxes)
davieG Posted 19 March 2009 Posted 19 March 2009 Well done Did we have much of an away following? Did you have the flag on show?

Norfox74 might remember some of them.... oh, who do gary breen and paul furlong play for? (we didn't get this one )

Thracian Posted 19 March 2009 Posted 19 March 2009 Stirring effort, well done one and all. Bet it was expensive celebrating at Norwegian prices, at least if my trip to Bergen was anything to go by.

Norway's answer to Ray Stubbs or is Norway claiming Ray Stubbs as one of its own? Take it Norway's answer to Gary Lineker, Norway's answer to Jeff Stelling, Norway's answer to Steve Rider and Norway's answer to Adrian Chiles were all busy? PS Well done.
