Skip related content The unnamed hunter, who had approached the fox after wounding it from a distance, was in hospital with a leg wound, while the fox made its escape, media said, citing prosecutors from the Grodno region. "The animal fiercely resisted and in the struggle accidentally pulled the trigger with its paw," one prosecutor was quoted as saying. Fox-hunting is popular in the picturesque farming region of northwestern Belarus which borders Poland. Zingari Posted 16 January 2011 Posted 16 January 2011 I'd rather people think I forgot to put the safety catch on than a fox shot me! not really , shooting yourself has got to be just crass stupidity , whereas a story about confronting some deadeye , rifle wupping fox has some sort kudos and shooting yourself is a bit of a non story though isn't it ? some people crave fame in whatever form, and i mean, how many free drinks will he get in the pub for this story as opposed to shooting himself ? ( that's how i always look at opportunities like this )
