I've watched alot of football over the years and Oliver Skipp, Bobby Reid and Jordan Ayew just come across as nothing players and at best water carriers, not sure what we're looking to gain from bringing in these types of players. Skipp out of the three may become something more given his age but we desperately need some firepower.

What bothers me is how we are happy to spend fees like this on bang average players but we couldn't fork out anything for a manager, now we're changing our entire transfer strategy for an unemployed manager we brought in on the cheap.

That's clear to see but we are lacking in certain types of midfielders that Skipp won't solve.

If you've got Winks, Ndidi, Choudhury, Soumare you don't just buy another of the same. He's a bit more tenacious than Winks but there's no variety there at all, and certainly no goals.
