He’s excelled himself today. I know he can’t get enough of his experienced pros but he’s gone out of his way to make their pair of Young and Keane look good by leaving Ayew on them all match, even bringing Fatawu on for Mavididi on the other side at the end. Well bottled again Steve

He won’t get himself into a position where he doesn’t play Ayew or Reid after insisting on them, unfortunately

But by selecting 3 DM's and one winger we're just making it difficult for the winger as there is no threat anywhere else, a big reason Mavididi and Fatawu had success last season because opposition knew we had threat on both sides. If Cooper is that terrifed of selecting two wingers then he has alternative options that would still be better than what he's doing, if he's going to persist with Ayew then he simply has to play a number 10. (El Khannous or Buonanotte). If he's going to stick with three DM's then he has to play Buonanotte as an inside forward with one of Mavididi or Fatawu. I don't see why we can't play two wingers against the worst team in the league though, especially when we're lining up with 3 DM's.

He was never going to leave seeing as some fools offered a contract to 2028. We won't get any bids that high again as potential buyers are seeing him play now
