He’ll know what Mavididi is like having worked previously with him, struggled in the championship and is overrated on here. Can’t walk around sulking half the match in this league. That said, I’m not having Reid either. My main issue is the central midfield absolutely horrible and he’s refused to switch it up all pre season.

We really are flogging a dead horse with Ndidi as a 10. He isn’t 10, he’ll never be a 10, play Alves until the club signs a 10, it’s not that hard.

Similar to DCR, his best attribute clearly is he works hard. The fact is both players are coming towards the end of their career especially as a winger and are not bringing any real quality, whilst getting our generous 3 year contracts taking them to 35. More inadequate players we're lumbered with.

We shouldn’t be targeting established PL players anyway, there is no value for money especially 32 year old wingers who have never been regular scorers, just workers. At best, one of them is ok if like Palace you have players like Eze and Olise making the difference but we’ve got no one doing that. This change of transfer strategy can only have come from the manager as Percy mentioned. He’s done himself no favours here, I already can’t wait till he’s gone but how much damage will have been done? We as a club must have no backbone as Rodgers did the same with Congerton, the start of the whole downfall.

Just because he changed to a fancy name doesn’t change the fact he’s Bobby Reid above average championship winger, below average handyman in the PL in his prime which is now behind him.

It’s the same every year. We’ve got too many players not good enough contracted far too long we can’t shift them and despite that we’ve managed to add two more to that list with the Ndidi and Vestergaard extensions that we could have let go and replaced or tried to replace with quality. The amount of muck we’ve got contracted to 2027 and beyond now is genuinely frightening.

It’s experience for experience sake and no doubt another 3 year contract for a 32 year old. We shouldn’t be allowing the inadequate manager turn us into Forest with inadequate players on silly contracts. If DCR and Ayew are what he wants as wingers then write the season off or just admit the mistake before changing the whole squad, lumbered with the likes of Ndidi Choudhury DCR Ayew and Vestergaard on contracts to 2027

We shouldn't be seeing it in friendlies, anyone with an ounce of football knowledge knows its a waste of time.
