  1. Premier League are allowing alcohol to be drank in the stands at Goodison this weekend - surely this is one step closer to all grounds next season being allowed. I am on the fence to be honest swaying towards its a bad idea. Not because people will be smashed but it will be more annoying how often people go and get one - plus the pint throwing culture in the UK is at an all time high! Would like to see some of Coach 1's feedback to KPFC after they get soaked in warm larger!
  2. Wouldnt surprise me if they brought out an actual goat to walk round after the game.... I'm not bothering to be honest. I havent been since Brentford either and said then i wouldnt bother again this season.
  3. narhh will be a flag with the JVGOAT logo on it.
  4. There is usually about 300 doing nothing around the ground.
  5. Couldnt get a ticket, so me and a few mates sat in my garden had a BBQ and set the telly up outside. We watched it on Iplayer as the cables were long enough but obviously a few in the street were watching it on BBC - we heard the cheer for the goal and the VAR decision before they happened! the VAR one was so confusing as it looked find from the first angle! Cracking day though jsut a massive shame it happened during Covid!
  6. how much i hope he gets a great send off there is still something at the back of my mind that the club are using this as a massive deflection tactic away from the board.
  7. You can. Just turn your NFC off. Just done it.... Reason its blank is because I sold my ticket for Sunday
  8. Minimum £80 per parent per child. Max £2500. My mate ended up in court because he took his out twice in a year and refused to pay the fine. Ended up having to pay £800 plus court costs... It's a joke, really is.
  9. Their games have been close this season, not sure it will be a white wash people are suggesting.
  10. guys if they dont change it for next season you dont need a separate phone etc. Just turn NFC off on YOUR CURRENT phone and the ticket will show with a QR that you can then share with who ever. This will only NOT WORK if the club move to dynamic QR codes - they havent yet so i doubt they will now. You probably wont know until the first game of the season though.
  11. Reminded me of Howards header against Leeds
  12. Imagine that was one of the best atmospheres of the season when that went in!
  13. Exactly, plastic is light and cheap. Even with these new taxes coming in soon because of its weight plastic is still going to be used as companies wont invest in alternatives. I think i have eluded to it before but i work for a packaging supplier and one of my projects currently is plastic take out. One example i have worked on recently plastic collation trays used in supermarkets for yogurt pots. They are single use and could easily be wiped out by a paper based solution. The big boys (muller etc.) wont move as they cost about twice as much and no one is applying pressure for them to move. Until the retailers force them to they wont, the retailers wont force them until they have to because it costs more about 5-10% more. So that easy solution could be fixed if people just took a small hit on their bottom line, but they wont. In one retailer last year 8 million of these were used and thrown away! so times that by all the retailers, all the yogurt lines that use the plastic trays and in the UK alone you are looking at probably 50-60 million of these trays....
  14. every piece of plastic that has ever been made is still on the Earth!
  15. Yeah it really was, was absolutely no need for them to play on.
  16. Hopefully they change this stupid rule now. Hope he is ok and it isn't as serious as it sounds.
  17. Anyone ever been to Cadiz ? We are stopping about 40 mins away in June and wasn't sure if it was worth a visit. Would be me the wife and a 3 year old....
  18. it is a tough job as the expectation on any Brazil manager is huge. They will expect to win the World Cup next year for a start. But you look at that squad and they have some great players but i wouldn't say they have a generational talent. Vini Jr is obviously their star man but could you see him pulling them through a tournament ?
  19. maybe one of them then.....
  20. Win this and use the extra cash we will receive to pay off Winks and Vestergaard
  21. yeah i didnt realise this either. Because it is the FA cup final on Saturday all the games moved to Sunday.
  22. He probably will yeah but it will make the headlines of what a mockery it is, to be the youngest player to ever score in the premier league to then just go sign a deal with someone else. It is a daft one of course but for me I don't care if Vardy gets 200 goals it's not like he is going to break a record for us if he does.
  23. Me. He could be the future for this club or at least one day be the player we have to sell because of the stupid rules in English football. A goal at his age in the premier league against our rivals COULD have been the deal maker to stop him leaving for £0 It would have been headlines around the world and actually might have caused a change to the stupid rules where we can't even offer him anything to stay.
