  1. Yes and imagine in this case if you put say £500 on him he odds would literally fall through the floor !
  2. thought the same, wouldn't mind any of them to be honest.
  3. For me we have to move quick, we need someone in before the players come back for pre season. I'm not really fussed who if I'm honest. We have the foundations to play a few different styles so most would fit. They just need to be up for a fight and the fans have to back who ever it is! need to remember who ever comes in it isn't their fault we are in such a mess financially.
  4. They havent. Ever! not even with some of their greats. Maybe we have dodged a bullet as i imagine we would have tried to match his offer in some form.
  5. I agree but he couldnt really get it wrong our team. We were a broken mess when he took over. We had no direction what so ever and to be fair little amount of ego's left. The ones left i imagine all of their agents tried to get them out of the door but were either deemed not good enough by other teams or they were comfy sitting in the championship on a decent wage so for me that is easier to imbed than the absolute bin fire that he is about to inherit at Chelsea. Their team is like no where else, on paper they probably have the best individual talent in the league but have under performed for the past 5 or 6 seasons and it has to be the utterly bonkers owner/s they had/have or the fact the players are just a bunch on individuals that only really care about themselves. For me if he gets it right they will challenge the top 3 (Liverpool are a bit of an unknown next season currently) but if he gets it wrong team he wont last and i think they have proved over the years they don't care about sacking someone on a big contract. I thank him for his time and wish him all the best but man he is going to need some luck along the way.
  6. He got our players to go all in on his style and on its day worked so well, i honestly wish him all the best but you look at that Chelsea squad and it is so unbalanced. Chelsea dont seem to care about FFP etc. so he will probably get money to spend but at some point he has to control some massive ego's that are not going to get a look in. Poch came out on record slating the state of the players entourages and how they were more interested in that than playing football, pretty sure all of these players are still about. For Enzo to get to Pep levels (which Chelsea board and fans will now expect) he has a massive job on his hands. He gets it wrong and they will sack him. Time isnt going to be on his side, they need results. Look at the penalty fiasco last season, it was embarrassing, he has to sort the culture out first which if someone like Poch couldn't do i dont see how someone with little experience does, especially when he is likely to have zero input on player sales or incomings.
  7. was thinking the same. He if he has anything about himself will be looking for a move ASAP as he does not fit into his style one bit. Forfana on the other hand if they get him fit and firing could thrive.
  8. i love the fact his has an option to extend it to a 6 year deal They have had 5 managers in the past 6 years!
  9. yeah i think we would take 30 to be honest.
  10. Only way we survive with -15 is if 3 other teams get thrown out the league for something. Give the job Birch for a year.
  11. Managing us this season is a tougher job than managing Chelsea. The best we can hope for would have been scrapping survival imo. That isn't getting you the biggest jobs in football.
  12. It's interesting really as two of the best jobs in football potentially available at the end of next season in Man City and Real Madrid. IF (and it's a big if!) Enzo nails this he will have put himself in a very good position to be considered for either. If he has stayed with us he wouldn't have stood a chance of getting either.
  13. To echo this, still gets talked about in my friendship as one of the best experiences ever. 26 of us went on my stag and the hospitality we were given by the fans was incredible.
  14. Madness to be one of the highest paid in the league! Has us and Rogers all over it!
  15. Narhh not really was in the hospitality part and didn't really see anyone from the club from a senior capacity (Top/Rudkin) well at least I didn't recognise anyone anyway... The 3 of them were enjoying the free day out though as per but didn't really engage with the fans that I saw anyway.
  16. They were enjoying the KP hospitality today that's for sure!
  17. To be fair I wouldn't mind any of them. It's going to a tough season and keeping us up will be a big success for any of them. Cuesta or Garcia probably first choice though as like something a a bit left field.
  18. We would demand 35/40m for him especially off Chelsea so doubtful he goes.
  19. If he sorts their injuries out they are more than balanced. It's just getting it right and managing all the egos there! It's a absolute bin fire there at the minute and going to take a look to get them playing the 'enzo way'
  20. Honestly don't really care as if he does well will end up at a big 6 club next year anyway. Hopefully someone that plays a similar style and can work with what is available
  21. Don't forget they have about 11 players out on loan that are all coming back. They need a fire sale and quick!
  22. Leeds beat us twice and Ipswich twice and still go up Oh well they will win the trophy of "who took the most fans to Oxford" award next season.
  23. sponsor makes or breaks it for me.... Whether its King Power, FBS, PFT or walkers (hopefully if it is Walkers they will go with the Pepsico logo instead!) all have an impact on how it will look!
  24. or going to watch one of his ex teams that is coached by a good friend in a cup final??
