Can you see.if there's one of those yellow and blue t shirts in medium please, between shouts mind 😙

I take it Potter wanted more control than Rudkin and Whelan were willing to relinquish.
-
I think I'm right in saying it's financially better for them to reduce number of ST's available on ballot because they'll draw in far more money selling us saps memberships and individual tickets at those prices. I certainly may have to pick and choose games I go to next season, it's just a rip off
-
It's pretty ballsy to speculate to accumulate, and Vichai was one of those types, but is Top and his family? I'd reckon the family are just too fearful to spend the money unless we had a maguire type transfer out or we were Europe again, without either of those, I think they're happy with the ways things are, I personally think it's short term thinking myself, but it's not my money and I want a season ticket
-
Appointing Potter to me just doesn't feel right, I get the impression if he comes, it means we've had to offer him a bucket load of money and will it be an underwhelming appointment for him? I think I'd much prefer Corberan, or even Cooper, Corberan it'd be a step up and he'd be hungry, and Cooper will have something to prove so will also be hungry.
-
What if we're offering him the position on the promise to release him if england job becomes available?

You just have to have faith the lunatics aren't STILL in control , but it doesn't look good

Wages are surely low at that

It's my opinion that forest are full of ego players. As we know I think players and manager relationships can sometimes become stale, and it's either players move on or manager. It happened with Rodgers as we saw, so again, I don't think Coopers tenure with forest in the Prem was reflective of his abilities as a manager, fact is he pretty much did an Enzo, in fact he did better than that, as we had better players when Enzo came in.
-
Nuno has a better more settled squad. Brendan Rodgers had a better win ratio than Claude puel in his first season, but could be said Rodgers benefitted from key players being signed and settled just as Puel left. I think Cooper is decent, not my first choice, but I don't think we're a particularly attractive proposition, I'm also coming round to Moyes as an option also
-
PL results wasnt really his fault was it.
-
Yes, we can only really judge Cooper on his championship reign, it seemed like once they were promoted, the Greek signed a load of ego journeyman, and virtual nobodies and was asked to organise them. I wouldn't mind him although I think he'd be under instant pressure with our fanbase because of where he's from, whereas Corberan might get more patience amongst the fan base I'd hope

Leicester 'could face points deduction next season'
splinterdream replied to ClaphamFox's topic in Leicester City Forum
Apparently Man City's court action is supported by 1 other unnamed club. -
-
I could imagine he could be quite charismatic in an interview and sell himself to Top, always came across very confident at Utd.
-
Went to the club shop the other day and loads of XXL training gear not sold, could save us a few quid for PSR
-
I've decided I'm team Corberan, think he's the best fit for us, a manager majority of fans will get behind. Young, progressive, hungry, plays the style the club want, but with overlapping full backs, wouldn't abandon us if we got relegated. I also think we need to concentrate on 3 positions, a CB, an attacking central midfielder and a striker, get those positions right and hang on to what we've got (losing Ndidi, Vestegaard, Nacho and Daka.) I'd e happy
-
I think we can say with an element of experience that sometimes, youth, hunger and desire gives a little more when battling than experience when it comes to some players, not all but some. Vestegaards ball distribution is a top attribute but when its all hands to the pump, i wonder if we cam rely on him. I don't think we should rely on Nelson though, personallyi think if we're to spend money and prioritise where it goes, it should be on a solid pacey ball playing CB, and we should let vestegaard go if he's asking for re relegation wages. I think we need 3 players as priority, a CB, a ball playing midfielder, preferably a battler if Ndidi goes whch i hope.he does, and a striker if we can shift Daka.

It's very difficult to play possession based football in the prem as your time on the ball is less, and if you lose it the penalty is often more severe. Perhaps Top should interview with an open mind and ask experienced managers what he thinks it will take to survive, and save our ideology of perfect football for later
-
Your theory Nelson isn't good enough being based on Enzos choice of first 11 isn't based on fact, just Enzo trusted 1 player than the other in that season, we're in a different league now that requires different qualities, so maybe saving the money on vestegaards inflated wages and playing Nelson when required would be better option
-
It really depends how well they can negotiate down his contract. They surely can't think they'll offer him a 3 year on what he was on before, I'd rather we looked at a loan or free, played faes, coady and Nelson. See if we can't get Doyle on another years loan
-
Listening to Tanner on a LTID podcast, he seemed pretty sure the club wanted to follow the football Enzo played, and the manager would be picked on that. Not sure what he meant by that, whether possession based football, or as far as inverted full backs, ut that being said, is Cooper that type of manager?
-
I tell you the thing about Cooper, I went to see Forest pre Cooper and post Cooper when they were in the championship, and the players he managed to get in completely transformed them, maybe he's better than given credit for as promotion went to the fat Greeks head and he took full control of transfers. Maybe someone who knows how to work on a shoestring is exactly what we need
-
Depends which Ndidi you get, if it's 22/23 ndidi, then we deffo can
