  1. yep, you either use it or you dont. if they dont use it for a wrong decision then theyre gonna get called out anyway
  2. the only thing that makes sense with Okoli, is they were so convinced they'll make money on him next season along with fatawu and mads
  3. when you think about it, this was obvious from end of last season. we knew enzo wasn't happy and wanted out, he was clearly told he'd have next to no transfer budget and KDH would have to go. you cant blame him really
  4. when you haven't looked at transfer section all day, but then you do and top 3 threads are who do you want, is it too soon to panic, and the Ayew thread....... i'll just carry on with my day then
  5. don"t know if anyone else noticed but whilst everyone else was raging last night, the social media team was putting out a preview the 3rd shirt is out today by the looks of it.
  6. absolutely, we never should have resigned Vestegaard, at least not the contract we offered, and i'd say the same for N'didi, who i predict will be a passenger this season, I hope I'm wrong on that one
  7. stronger than making a statement we have little to no funds, but at this point our actions speak louder than words.
  8. Yeah, you're spot on with this. After Rodgers, I always wanted Benitez, because i felt he'd be a manager that'd be assertive, which is what this club needs, a senior manager who knows the game, players, the system of success of running a club, as it seems Top, Rudkin and Whelan don't have a scooby, and when the manager is just used to being a coach only as was probably the case at Forest, we end up in the position we're at.
  9. we're all speculating there is no plan, no care and incompetance, but maybe the clubs hands are tied. A point was made on the BSLB by one of the guests that the club hasn't been transparent, but at this stage it really can't say anything for fear of being held hostage if we make offers late window. We may have a limited budget and need to come in last minute, perhaps we have no choice but to have a go but accept if we go down, we go down, but to keep within PSR and build slowly, or it could just be Tops lost interest, and the club with Rudders is rudderless.
  10. just seen shaquri has now become a free agent, looked great in the euros, just the sort of player we could use
  11. i thoughr it was weird but so.many outlets announcing it, thoughtwe might be offering some financial incentives
  12. i doubt we're that lucky, he'll never score a hatrick
  13. i dont understand making judgements on Cannon. he had a brief appearance mid season when we had no options and he was brilliant, and the pressure was on him. He also did well in his last loan spell, on the other hand we have Daka, who when hr had the opportunity in the championship, was bloody awful and it nearly cost us. So why is it thought Daka is a better striker than Cannon?
  14. Ndidi was absolutely dreadful 22/23 season, as for the rest they should either have had loan deals by now or know what their role is, I don't think they do though. The debate of is it the Club or Coopers fault, I think Cooper hasn't used pre season well at all, we're in a worse state with more questions now than we were when we started pre season
  15. we have Ndidi - a CDM, being in possession isn't a strong point Winks - a transitional pivot player Golding - haven't seen enough but looks like he could move ball through the lines Alves - attacking midfielder Hamza - a CDM lots of energy and running, not consistent Mcateer - attacking midfielder who can play central Fatawu - winger Mavididi - winger, tried as attacking midfielder but i'm not convinced Marcel - winger. I don't think we saw enough of marcel, mcateer, alves and golding to see if they could do a job, that goes for Cannon as well, isn't that what pre season is all about?
  16. I watched quite a few forest games whilst Cooper was in charge and for me he just had players like gibbs white, Worrall and Yates who soaked up the atmosphere of the City ground and would run and run all game. He also fell had some flair players like Johnson and Danilo, I'm not entirely sure of the tactics, they were either really good or absolute dross. I think KDH was our gibbs white and has left a bigger hole than we feared, that position is the key for us. I saw Puel getting mocked yesterday on match thread, but he was on to something, he was missing that similar position until he found it with tielemens, but by then it was too late. Lets hope we unlock a signing, or this lad from Brighton is the key.
  17. i'd have had more of a look at Golding and Alves in the centre, Golding looked like he could take players on but hes hardly feactured, Cooper must know more tham me thougn
  18. we need to bin VK steve.
  19. come on then, who paid £10 to watch that? own up
  20. and next season we'll be playing teams im the CL, and in europe, and rememeber, the PL is exciting because its competitive, but we were nowhere near, miles off, worse than last season infact. They should have had 5/6
  21. minutes in the legs lads
  22. i think the club knows we're likely going down again, this is a have a go and see wat happens
  23. we've had little of the ball, what we did have, we panicked with hopeless balls over the top, our press is awful, our play out from the back embarrassing with faes losing it infront of goal, it doesnt feel like cooper knows the players either, hes given little game time to players that may change the way we're playing, we are miles off it. i said in the zaha thread that id think after him, we'd still need another 2/3 quality signings to just survive, i havent changed my opinion on that, even zaha isnt saving us, and if hes watched this, he isnt coming here
  24. whos paying £70 a ticket then?
  25. really hoping thats the case, and players are playing at 50%, because if theyre not, we in big trouble
