There have been worse than this. What has disappointed me is that I did not think under this ownership we would just be allowed to slide. They have had years to sort this out. First relegation big changes to the structure should have come and they haven't.

1. I am not sure a majority would have been excited. The quality of manager for the last 3 appointments has been bad. Cooper was the best of the three. Honestly, what decent manager wants this job right now? 2. It is a very low bar at the moment, so you may be right. What it will do is cost money and cause instability. When we went down to league 1 we changed managers three times I think. We have only 10 games left. 3. I am not confident that the board had any expectations/targets. We are in a fight against relegation at the moment. If you can't beat second form bottom you at home you are not that great.

He has had so much given to him to help him. A squad full of want aways, a board who have given him next to nothing and the remaining players either not good enough or not showing up for the most part. Supporters have wanted him out before he was here. If he has any guts he would walk away because it may just make all of the above realize that at this time we are an absolute poisoned chalice. Would anyone with half a brain want this job because apart from the money there is no appeal. The club has not even removed Rudkin. Whilst he is still around there remains a huge risk of the same mistakes, albeit he is not being allowed to get anyone in. We are effectively under a transfer embargo. We are not being allowed or enabled to spend anything. We are going one way. He is a small part of the problem but he is not THE PROBLEM. If he is sacked today I don't think for a minute we will get anyone better. There will be no incoming players and we will have the same set of players. We do need some fresh faces, all clubs need that. We need some wise heads with a bit of character to get into the dressing room and start leading and firing up the players. When Pearson was here that was one of his criteria. Can we please also get a decision about the points deduction? It is hanging over is like a bad smell. Do you have to wait until March/April to get it and then have no time to do anything about it? Could the club actually release an official statement setting out where we are? There is just nothing but silence. This season is about staying in the league. If anyone wants this team to go up (bar the money) you must be mad. We would be one of the worst teams to be in the premier league.

Dismissing him this week makes no sense. He has hinted at some new faces. If we sack him now they may not come and we are not going to be able to put deals together for the exit of one management team the entrance of another and some fresh blood. I think we are stuck with him. We look totally toothless. Now JJ out no real quality in midfield and we cannot keep a clean sheet. It is going to be a backs to the wall end of season and hopefully we will see some character. I want them to stay up but big changes have to come in the summer. Who has replaced Rudkin? I don't see him/her doing much at all but that is probably better than Rudkin doing a little bit. He has overseen a loan from Palace who we never saw. A right back who has vanished off the face of the earth, a midfielder who gets sent off and then is constantly injured, a striker who scored less than Daka (how is that possible). I am going for a lie down!!!

Save some bits for Winks as he is having a hard time living off his meagre salary. Does it not just put things in perspective?
-
There were not many boycotting today. You put your bum on a seat you get what you deserve. I know the argument about getting behind the lads, but let's be about right we should have enough to at least compete in this league and we just have not. If you keep going this is what you will keep getting. Nothing will change. We have about a week until the close of the window. We needed faces in at the start of January but nothing. We needed players out and nothing. Winks must he laughing as he has his feet up, earning (I use the word very loosely) more in a week than many do in a couple of years. He is not the only one by any means. I would be embarrassed to be stealing those wages as I am sure many on here would. Disgusting.

Another joyless afternoon. We can't defend. We pass where it is easy. Barely created a chance. Very little evidence of anyone showing real fight. OXFORD wanted it more. They were in the bottom 3. We better pray we don't get a deduction because I would fear for us surviving.

It is about why Top may or may not be invested. I was just offerering a different perspective. I am not happy about where we are but tryings to make some sense of it.
-
I spoke to someone the other day about this. Top may have very mixed emotions about LCFC. The success and the joy it bought him and his dad but also the misery and sadness of the loss of his dad and the others who lost their lives. May not be easy to process for him. I am not defending him but just offering a slightly different perspective.

So another game. Disinterested players. No reinforcements. Injuries to key players. This is not Marti's fault. He seemed to think there would be a fresh face but nothing. I would not worry about getting rid he might just walk. I would not blame him. If we have to pay him off bang goes our.splash in the transfer market. No explanation or statement just silence. The team and fans need to stick together or we are in big big trouble.
-
Anyone interested will be looking at his ability, salary and application. He is not that great ability wise, Not worth anywhere near what we are paying and his application is very poor. If we were looking at him it would be a no on that alone.

Page is a real positive. He looks like a player to me. Everytime he plays he looks head and shoulders above most of the rest. He looks more of a prospect than Monga.
-
Don't worry Daka will be on soon. In this weather I am prepared to bet he will be on the floor more than he is on his feet.
-
The move leading to Bobby's chance was a joy to behold. Ayew laying it off whilst collapsing under no challenge seemed to confuse everyone. Well played Jordan!
-
Leicester have been studying Chelsea blueprint and have decided to give staff long contracts. They are starting with management and Marti is getting 8 years. Top believes you have to speculate to accumulate!!!
-
I have heard a rumour about Marti.......
-
Q Yet he has managed to have a long career, a good proportion of it in the premier league. Is he an all round striker no. Is he limited yes. He has delivered what was said on the tin by and large. If he has on a high salary he will not be here after the summer. He does what he does and to expect more is not realistic.
-
Silence......
-
I have just gone off him if that is the case. Get him out!
-
If you are right and he is sacked let's see if his replacement does any better. You might be disappointed though. BTW I am not pro or con on Marti I have accepted mediocrity once again. It is sadly easier that way to accept what is happening.
-
Ruud was quite bad last season. There has been little to no investment in the squad. We have let a load of players go. We have a bargain basement manager who paid to come here. Marti should not be the target of the anger. If he gets sacked wait and see what comes next.
-
I do have lots of hobbies thankfully, because otherwise I would be as upset as most are on here. Let's sick back and enjoy the fun!!
-
Great if he does. We have crocked Victor or the young lad who got sent off after about 30 minutes.
